Many African immigrants are worried that a Senator McCain win in November may herald bad news for the country and the economy. This fear, according to interviews with African immigrants by African Abroad-USA, became reinforced when the presidential race became dead even after McCain picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. The Palin pick, as indicated by polls, has energized the McCain campaign and has driven Senator Barack Obama into playing defense.
Franca (last name withheld), a Nigerian American, fears that a win by the Arizona senator may mean that America may go to war with Iran and diverting economic resources towards war.

Why are we letting ANY Nigerians into our country? Is there even ONE who is not engaged in illegal activities? Who is giving them visas? They can’t,like the Mexicans, simply walk in. There needs to be a thorough audit of our consulates in Nigeria. I suspect that people are paying for visas.

In the 1980s there was a big scandal involving Nigerian “immigrants” filing bogus insurance claims to scam the American people. What was really insulting was that the Nigerian government set up seminars or classes to teach those Nigerian immigrants how to scam America.

We obviously don’t give intelligence tests to our new immigrants. The square peg in a round hole would eliminate a lot of them.
You should be even more pi$$ed off to know that they all qualify for affirmative action preferences simply because they are from Nigeria and no doubt not descended from any European colonizers there.
None of them ever had any slavery in their families and all have come of their own free will many decades after the end of segregation or any other legal discrimination.
Just like the current Democratic party nominee.
