Nonsense.

If they scare ya that much then send send in a sealed, wrapped box of tea bags instead.

reminding them that we can still organize and overthrow the lot of them, if we have but enough courage, cunning, bushes, and ammo!

bushes?

And how long have we tried “calm reason” already?

You cannot reason with people who already believe with great conviction they can trample on the American taxpayer for whatever reason under the sun.

I have TONS of acorns falling on the ground right now, since I live in the woods (both red and white acorns).

It would take a while to gather them up (although I can gather bucketfuls in a few minutes).

I’d be afraid to send them to Congress (get arrested), and my deer herd would be appalled, but the woods are full of them.

However, if you organize something with acorns I can arrange to be the supplier (LOL).

Not quite as graphic but less FBI-attracting, how about postcards with pictures of tea bags on both sides?

Of course that require more packaging and postage, as you’d have to send that as a parcel because it’s too thick to be sent in a normal evelope. The tea bag however is perfect bargain for 42 cents.

I feel terrible about this situation.

It is, in my humble opinion, our last chance. If this bailout doesn’t get stopped, it is over, folks.

I am not so naive as to think that there won’t be a terrible mess, but if we do not let the mess happen, we are just postponing the end, and it will be a long ugly decline.

What percent of the population is on the government dole or payroll, and at what point will we be unable to out-vote them?

You all know the future, and you know what is at stake. What else could we think of that might actually work? I am so afraid it is just too late.

You may be too young to remember that song...

They ran through the briars, and they ran through the brambles, and they ran through the bushes where the.... wouldn’t go...

Think, but not at all sure it was about the revolutionary war soldiers. If it wasn’t it should have been, for it was how we defeated the british redcoats.

googled it, and was only a few years off... Here are the lyrics, and the link. Seems it was from the war of 1812

In 1814 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans

We fired our guns and the British kept a’comin’
There wasn’t nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin’
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

We looked down the river and we seed the British come
And there must have been a hundred of ‘em beatin’ on the drum
They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring
We stood behind our cotton bales and didn’t say a thing

We fired our guns and the British kept a’comin’
There wasn’t nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin’
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

Old Hickory said we could take ‘em by surprise
If we didn’t fire our muskets till we looked ‘em in the eyes
We held our fire till we seed their faces well
Then we opened up our squirrel guns and gave ‘em..
Well... we...

Fired our guns and the British kept a’comin’
There wasn’t nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin’
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

Yeah they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn’t go
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn’t catch ‘em
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

We fired our cannon till the barrel melted down
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round
We filled his head with cannonballs ‘n’ powdered his behind
And when we touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind

We fired our guns and the British kept a’comin’
There wasn’t nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin’
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

Yeah they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn’t go
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn’t catch ‘em
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

Hut, hut, three, four
Sound off, three, four
Hut, hut, three, four
Sound off, three, four
Hut, hut, three, four

The Battle of New Orleans.

Can you all help get this started? I have sole caretaker responsibility for my husband, who has Parkinson’s. I can mail my own tea bags in in, but do not have the time and energy to get the word out to the other conservative blogs and talk radio show hosts.

It probably won’t do much, but at least we can try. And, it might be a head’s up to those who think the .gov has all sorts of money to dole out to everyone that this money does in fact come from us!

The tea suggests a tax-payer revolt, which is the only way to truly stop this unconstitutional nonsense from D.C.

I was hoping they might get scared enough of that (TP revolt) to stop stiffing us taxpayers.

I know, old, grey, and naive enough to still hope that we the people could get ourselves organized enough to scare the bejeebers out of them.

We could attach sweet little notes to the tea-bag strings.

If each Freeper just sends a bag a day, with “pithy” note attached, to his/her senators and congressperson, maybe they would all start discussing these little daily missives with one another.

Who do they think we are, anyway? Golden Geese?
