I watched a part of the Couric interview where she asked Gov Palin why she didn’t have a passport and basically she said she worked all of her life and she never had her parents send her to Europe with a backpack and the Morning Joe crew were HORRIFIED...
Personally I found her answer spot on, most Americans do not have passports to the tune of 85% do not, we work here.

Does anybody actually watch Katie Couric... no matter who the guest is????
Ratings on Drudge ALWAYS show C-->BS at the botton.
And, the LA Times (a liberal rag) is hardly in a position to be objective enough to review an interview.

well the funny thing is that conservatives are so excited by mccain’s stand against the Bush/Frank bailout that people are now thinking about voting for mccain because of mccain instead of voting for mccain because of Palin (before the other day) or voting for mccain to be against Obama (before convention)

"...found Palin rambling, marginally responsive and even more adrift than during her network debut with ABCs Charles Gibson..."
Anyone else want to raise their hand to agree this type of statement shows just how in the tank these people are for liberal candidates?
I watched the "uncut" version with that pompous blowhard Gibson, and I thought Palin was anything but adrift.

Palin:..so tell me Katie, how does it feel to be a albatross circling a major network news organization?
Palin:..any guilty feelings taking millions from a company who's goal is to destroy the US?
Palin..(with Hilda fake laugh)...hahahaha, did you actually write all these questions yourself, or did the DNC fax over the agenda for today's interview?

I consider almost any place other than my home of Alaska to be too dangerous nowadays to bother getting a passport.
Almost the whole world hates America, most in part because its the world of Islam.
Big deal about a passport though the VP should have one to be legal.

But Palin has never been to Russia, and the McCain campaign has provided no evidence of any personal involvement she has had in negotiations with Russian trade officials.
well we do show she has dealt with trade officials from Japan

I hardly get to see Sarah. I don’t watch TV. But I like to hear her say it like it is.

LOL - if Sarah even asked just one of those questions (I particularly like the last one), I’d send another donation to the campaign....even bigger than the last one.

I have no reason to believe the questions asked of her, in the debate, will be any different in their nature or tone. They'll be “gotchas”. And the reviews of her performance will be the same. Because the primary directive will be the same. Destroy her.

Gotcha questions such as “Name three other Regulatory matters that McCain has supported” and then playing the jeopardy theme music just makes Couric look like the Ass she is.

Could the willingness to vote for McCain over this issue be because it is a more conservative approach to NOT throw money into a black hole? Doubly so because it is something that POS Barney Frank wants desperately?

Gov Palin got one in 2007, the left and the media are in a tizzy that she never had one before that, which is just stupid as most Americans do not have one.
Ehh...I do think S. Palin needs to loosen up a bit, IMO she is soo afraid that she might make a mistake that she throws everything and the kitchen sink at a question she is iffy on.

No kidding. The woman barely utters an “um,” (while Zero does nothing but), forms understandable and accurate responses (H e l l o, Joe?), and reaches the common American (was WORKING, hence no passport). The Libs do not get it, but Main Street does.
