Gotcha questions such as “Name three other Regulatory matters that McCain has supported” and then playing the jeopardy theme music just makes Couric look like the Ass she is.

Yes, that is the leftist moral relativism. Nevermind probing deeper and actually understanding the monumental dimensions of the huge regulatory concern expressed by John McCain a few years ago. That was substantial and warranted further discussion. No, instead the dreg sets it aside and says what else has he done for us? Sometimes one concrete example is enough, like when Salk invented the polio vaccine, or Einstein the theory of relativity. So we would ask them what other papers did you write and publish? After all Professor so-and-so wrote 87 papers and you only wrote one! But who ever heard of Professor so-and-so?

Biden commits verbal diarrhea on a daily basis, and the media barely discusses it.

“I have no reason to believe the questions asked of her, in the debate, “

No, debates are actually easier. They throw out a single “question” (more like a topic) and then the candidate answers. Then the opponent has rebuttal time. The moderator isn’t supposed interrupt with constant “follow up”. They key to “debating” is to pretend like you’re answering the question while puking out memorized talking points. That’s what Obama has been doing the past week, preparing for the debate with McCain - memorizing one-liners.

I don’t see it as a slip per se ari, she gave a too complete an answer.

IMO that is just a function of her not wanting to make an error.

They are spinning furiously to try to redefine the narrative about Gov. Palin. They know that the only chance they have to stop her is to sling as much crap as possible, in order to beat people down enough to start believing it. I believe they are students of a particular Nazi when it comes to propaganda.

I don't think any of those rules will apply to Palin. I really don't. The MSM is on a mission and they don't care about debate procedures. I hope I'm wrong.

I would like to see her handlers fired though. She is being overdosed with talking points and it shows. I’ve seen her Alaska debates and older interviews on CSPAN and she’s really good. A natural.

It is like the 1984 election. In the first debate, Reagan did badly because he had been overly prepared and wound up. So for the second debate it was “let Reagan be Reagan” - they got rid of the handlers and he was just himself and he put Mondale and election away.

Take a break? She just got started! She is doing fine. She hasn’t said one thing harmful.

I just wish her staff would get more facts and figures for her, and she would have told Katie, for the third time, that “thankfully, there are NOT a lot of examples of Senator McCain advocating regulation, because as a conservative, John McCain is against government regulation, as a rule. We believe that the government should work FOR people, not strangle them. But, John McCain, in this fanny mae and Freddie mac situation showed that the needs of the country are always more important than ideology or partisan politics. He always puts his country first, and always will do what it best for the country.”

I have answered the question Katie.

And I personally think Sarah should take a break for a week or two.

The only things she needs to take a break from are press interviews and press conferences. Those are on the media's turf and only the media wins. Palin needs to hit the campaign trail and continue with her fresh appeal on issues. No more interviews.

I don't know who does Katie's makeup but in HD she's looking like this--except it's both eyes for her:

Cut down on the eyelash thickener, Katie!

How about interviews with local reporters, at campaign stops?

Her new handlers and advisors are indeed cramping her style. Just give her what she needs to know, and let her do the rest.
