Kathy baby.....just remember the last time we had a young Republican running for Vp after a short stint at governor who also fished and hunted and had many children, and who by the way, was loved and revered to this day....Teddy Roosevelt
RAGE ON SARAH PALIN.......YOU GO GET'EM YA HEAR!.....
YUP, NY Times has linked to it already — congratulations, Kathleen Parker...... you have proved that you would rather elect Obambi and Biden because of course THEY so obviously meet your lofty standards of who is “Presidential” and capable of impressing YOU.
I thought we were done with this Palin-should-withdraw nonsense.
When I think about these things, I'm always aware that I've been a hard-core conservative Freeper for 10+ years, and that this fact affects my view of the matter.
There certainly is - for the Left.
You see, a person has to prepare for their trip into the Media Snake Pit.
Preparation takes time away from campaigning and fund-raising.
This is why you hear the Left screaming for her to be on their shows.
Ignore them.
>> Who Is Clearly Out Of Her League.
How can someone be out of their league?
Palin is unique, and the support she’s getting is also unique. It’s understandable that those who cannot understand the significance of this unique combination turn to the comfort of ridicule.
Parker is a twit - a symbol of what imbeciles now pass for “conservative”. She is a silly silly girl who should not be taken seriously.
All Kathleen’s columns should have barf alerts,
Parker is a communication expert and owns a PR corp.
When I have heard her speak she did not seem particularly bright. Her education is limited to a bachelors degree. The POTUS needs more than that.
Reagan had a bachelor’s degree.
I think we’re up to Noonan, Kathleen Parker, Andrew Sullivan and Heather MacDonald.
If McCain had selected Romney, the polls right now would be 60% Obama, 30% McCain.
And they'd be accurate...
Would that Sarah had said: "I'll get back to you on that, Katie. Plus, the wait will give you time to brush up on Hoover, FDR, the history of television, and what FDR said about "the princes of greed" after he became president in 1933".
People need to be reminded daily that the Courics, Williamses and Gibsons of the world are air-headed teleprompter vidiots.
I think were up to Noonan, Kathleen Parker, Andrew Sullivan and Heather MacDonald.
***Are there any examples of the opposite? Someone who surprisingly thought Sarah Palin is great? Maybe Bill Clinton, Willie Brown? No one will ever believe those two slick willies are about anything but themselves.
In one fell swoop, McCain introduced a simple litmus test and he doesn’t even have to take the heat for it — Palin does. It is the most prodigious choice of a VP candidate in history. She is handing the election to him.
There’s a handful - Ferraro comes to mind immediately.
I sent in a strong comment to Parker at the town hall site ...but all of the comments have been taken down. What gives?
A brief review.
Presidents without a BA — 9, including Washington, Lincoln, and Truman.
Presidents with only a Batchelor’s degree — 24
Presidents with law degrees — 5: Hayes, Taft, Nixon, Ford, Clinton.
Presidents with other graduate degrees — 3: Wilson (only PhD), Clinton, George W. Bush.
Not much evidence for your theory, is there?
I don’t know what’s going on.
