YOur post is very discomfiting. I have felt for several weeks now that the GOPer “experts” are terribly mishandling this valuable asset. They need to let Sarah be Sarah. Instead, they have so filled her with their political hogwash that she is becoming afraid of her own shadow.
Granting interviews with Gibson and Couric was a disastrous mistake. They should have known the networks would do whatever possible doing and after the interviews to make Sarah look bad. Sarah’s first interview should have been with Brit Hume.
Not allowing the press to observe her conversations at the UN was a remarkably inept move. They should have known she would charm the foreign leaders. And let Sarah be Sarah in full view of the world.
I understand that last evening the hard lefties at CNN or MSNBC (to me they are interchangeable) played Sarah’s responses to Couric and said that Sarah had clearly lost her spirit and was now running scared. If so, it’s entirely due to Goper “experts” thoroughly mishandling this great natural resource.
If you do not know 'where' this is; just 'Google' Hell on Earth.
You will love it's perfect 'year-round' environment and you will really enjoy ALL who reside there.
I agree. There are too many other venues to do interviews.
EVERYONE in America agrees that the mainstream media hates Palin and wants the democrats to win.
NO ONE would hold it against her if she went with Hannity, Beck, OReilly, Limbaugh, etc.
I’d love to see them insist on having a panel of 4 inquisitors which each side gets to pick 2. Hume would definitely be one of my choices. Can’t make up my mind on the other.
Katie wearing jer ‘jack-boots’. Interesting. . .all the better to ‘kick’ Sarah with. What a message; before she even opens her mouth. And just for ‘good measure’. . .
Couric should be address by “her bitchness”.
Katie’s merely another insecure personality who made the wrong move in favor of money.
She realized too late - the adoration at NBC was far more comfortable than the bucks.
Palin wears boots - Katie isn’t too original.
If so, this is an effort at intimidation and diminution of Gov. Palin’s physical presence. The oversize chair also serves probably in their eyes as a diminution tool.
Gov. Palin should give these interviews in HER settings wherein at least the physical setting is neutral..
This and the Gibson interview provide more than ample justification/evidence for requesting and ensuring that the interviews be conducted in a neutral setting.
Couric addressed BO as Senator Obama...
So her ‘rationale’ for losing the Governor appelation is typical of CBS.
Lies and fabrications and of course Couric’s insecurity!
I am not an evil person, but I find myself wishing harm to these people. On second thought, maybe I am an evil person.
Well, we can play the game too!
it is time to start refering to Palin as "Vice-President Palin" in all of our communications.
Oh, and drop all references to the other side's elected status. Mr. O'Bama, Mr. Biden, Mrs. Clinton.
And don't forget Reader-ess Couric.
All this Couric makes me want to go take a Couric.
I guess Katie wore glasses to compete with Sarah too?
“staffers have openly ridiculed Palin”.....
What else would you expect from the whack left in any newsroom around the country?....
They just keep pushing and pushing. I hope that I around
for the blowback,someday!
Couric is Dan Rather with a vagina.
On the contrary, we do challenge couric, by not watching her odious program.
Sarah should mention this, and when she gets into the VP slot, she should ensure CBS looses their Whitehouse press credentials. Perky Katie doesn’t want to acknowledge her as governor, she can ensure the government refuses to a acknowledge CBS as press. Two can play this game.
“bless her heart”
That’s Texas Baptist for “B*tch”, you know...
