This story is utter rubbish. McCain does not support Bush’s bailout, as the story implies. He supports “a plan” to avert a meltdown. That is not supporting “Bush’s bailout plan” as the story falsely implies. This is just as bogus as them claiming yesterday a deal had been reached — three separate times — each time the Republican saying it was absolutely false.
Other than McCain saying “we need a deal,” (which can be construed anyway you want & isn’t new news) this looks like
