National Review dumped Ann Coulter....and employs this shrew?

Well, Coulter didn’t call them girly-men for nothing.

No wonder good conservatives refuse to run for office, they get ZERO support from any press, even our own.

“Finally, Palin’s narrative is fun, inspiring and all-American in that frontier way we seem to admire.”

“we seem to admire”? Either YOU do, or you don’t, Kathleen. Please don’t worry about trying to understand our mindset.

Kathleene Snarker...

Another jackassette to write off...

I guess John should have picked Katie Couric.

What was wrong with the answers Sarah gave that were cited in the article? Nobody who can walk onto a stage like at the Republican convention and give one of the most flawless speeches in televised history, partly with a malfunctioned teleprompter, or who showed absolute confidence in her introduction speech is clueless. Maybe she stumbled a bit, afterall, she’s been bombarded with national issues that she didn’t have any reason to be concerned with before, but I would bet everything I own she’s setting the naysayers up just so she can blow them away at the debate. If God’s faithfulness and our prayers have anything to do with it, she’ll do great.

She’s a Mitt sicophant. And while Romney would have come in handy during this mess; with Mitt as the pick McCain would have been down about 15 by now. And the base would have been uninspired. This mess would have clinched it for Obama.

I’ll take being down 3-4 with Palin. And hope for good debates.

Keep in mind that this is one voice at NRO, and they don’t always agree with each other in any case. The rest of the staff, especially Kathryn Jean Lopez, are solidly on Palin’s side.

Second, Palin’s interviews with Gibson and Couric were gotcha-fests, and the the Veep debate will be a much better indicator of her readiness, as theoretically both candidates will have the same questions.

I feel like I am back in HS...and Sarah was voted homecoming queen (because everyone trully likes her and she is really smart). The bitchy cheerleaders are mad that no one likes them, but they all think they were owed homecoming queen because, well thats what they think.

I don't recall a single foreign policy question directed to the Breck Girl.

I also don't recall any question as to how the experiences of an ambulance chasing attorney qualified him to be Prez.

The thing these people cannot understand is how someone with a non-Ivy League education can make their jobs seem so easy.

They can't stand that. A regular, normal American can't do this job, according to the elitists.

It's a threat to them. All of them.

Sarah Palin is a very plain spoken person. I believe that is part of her success with the people. They understand her, she makes sense, they can relate to her like no other politician.

This beotch is obviously out of her league possessing a keyboard. A monkey on a typewriter would type more sense (and be more loyal too).

Take your kneepads and go join the Obozo campaign, beotch. Your 15 minutes in the conservative movement is over and we now therefore shat you out our collective conservative colon like any meal that doesn’t sit well.

as theoretically both candidates will have the same questions.

Yeah right ...

Q for S. Palin: "Do you approve of your husband screwing your daughters?

Q for Obozo: "Do you approve of Todd Palin screwing his daughters?

This is the idea of fairness in debate questions to the Left Wing Medjia.

I spoke to my mother who is a liberal on the phone today. I asked her what she thought of Palin. She said “she sure knows how to talk, doesn’t she?” She went on to say she thought that’s why McCain picked her. She asked me if I thought she could handle the presidency if something happened to McCain. I said, absolutely. I mean, if Obama who has no experience is at the top of the dem ticket, Sarah Palin who will be v.p., can definitely handle it.

Kathleen Parker is a semi-embalmed pseudo-conservative, married to a Democrat-supporting attorney, who is jealous beyond words (well, almost!) that someone from outside her cherished Beltway would have a shot at the big leagues.

She can say whatever she wants, but Sarah Palin has already outclassed her by being an elected Mayor & Governor.

All Kathy Parker will ever be is just another wannabee writer / hack reporter. She can titter over cocktails with fellow South Carolinian Carol Fowler about their 15 minutes of fame as they both are dragged into obscurity, kicking and screaming and battering their plasti-faces with vats of Retinol.

Hey folks, the only problem Palin has is that the McCain campaign has had her under too much control. She is only allowed to mirror McCain.

Problem is, most of us do not like McCain. This has greatly diminished her appeal.

Get it?

“There are a TON of women who have had abortions and Sarah brings up very bad memories of what they have done.......so they have to DESTROY her someway.”

You hit the nail on the head... they they feel guilty... they feel guilty because they know — deep down — what they did was shameful and wrong.

Don’t count on the debate being fair with the “same questions.” While each will have followup time, there will be a unique quesiton directed to each candidate.

Biden: Do you think the Redskins have a shot this year?

Palin: What is your opinion of Section 1339 of Act 12 of the recent bill that was just passed by Congress.

RE: 3

I think you've hit on the essence of the Palin Derangement Syndrome that we've seen breaking out the past month.
Some of it is due to the fact that the Libs can't stand the idea of a conservative woman (ditto for a conservative 'minority') being elected to higher office, thus she must be destroyed.
Some of it is due to the fact that they can't stand the idea of a Christian being put into a position of leadership (and for that matter - neither can satan, and his minions, who will egg on those in this world who he has blinded into fits of hysteria and rage).
But you are also right - the abortion issue touches a very sore button. We as a society have chosen to exult material wealth, sexual lusts, and convenience higher than human life. And those who have made such a tragic decision in the past - have either to face it, and come to repentance, or to try to ignore it. Someone like Mrs. Palin probably dredges up bitter memories for those that have chosen poorly, and not repented - and thus they become unhinged...
