It has been very slow the last few weeks.I wonder what’s going on? Can hacking issues be involved?
A FReeper posted concerns a few days ago about the relational database structure of the site. Being an EF Codd devotee, I dismissed the FReeper's concerns. But there is a difference between a discussion forum and a business application. When you start getting into the millions of records, relational databases can slow down.
Especially with unstructured data (i.e. "A Moose Bit My Sister.")
