King County Superior Court Judge Richard Eadie ruled Friday that Republican governor candidate Dino Rossi could keep his designation as "prefers GOP Party" on the November General Election ballot. The Washington State Democrats sued to force Rossi to describe himself as a Republican. Some voters might be confused about what "GOP" means, a King County Superior Court judge said Friday, but that's not reason enough to change the way gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi describes himself on the general election ballot. State Democrats sued last week, saying Rossi was trying to hide his party affiliation because of low approval ratings for the party nationally. They cited a recent poll that showed some voters don't know what GOP means.

Ping-a-ling!
I was in Federal Way today and saw two groups of sign wavers down by the Sea-Tac mall. They were waving “McCain Palin” and “Rossi” signs.
I should keep my extra sign in the car so I can pull over and join these groups when I see them! Today the aquarium fish I had just bought wouldn’t have appreciated the delay, but if they’re there tomorrow I just might join in.

How many recounts will there be this year?,I see Sam Reed still has a job.
Or even better start one. I'm in the Renton area if anyone is interested in doing a weekly corner gathering between Kent and Bellevue.
By the way we were also stimulating the economy in the fish store today. Mrs NavyCanDo has a great Salt Water Reef Aquarium.

Ah, mine’s fresh water.
All my baby platys grew up and turned out to be male except for one female, and the poor thing was getting pursued all over the tank. I had to buy a few more girl platys to give her a break.
And a new algae eater. Mine is very lazy.
I’ll see what I can find out about sign waving. I sent an email to the Reichert campaign, and I’ll check with Rossi’s group.
Hurray! The first stunt by the Gregoire campaign thwarted. Suspect they have some more up their sleeves. Just shows how desperate they are. We have to stay on top of this. We cannot let them steal the election this time!

In fact, the Democrat Party is the oldest political party in the world. That might be part of their trouble.
I no longer live in Washington, but it bugs me that Rossi couldn’t bear to be listed as a Republican. What’s with that?
Still, if this ruling eliminates after-voting shenanigans, that’s great in my book.
Any polls on the race thus far?
Republic brand appears to be a negative in WA.

I don’t necessarily think that Rossi cannot bear to be listed as a Republican. From a graphic design stand point there are 10 letters in Republican. Imagine designing bumper stickers, yard signs trying to get your name out there, what your running for. It’s easy to run out of room. GOP sure makes it easy. The only reason the Democrats don’t do it is because they don’t want to use ‘RAT :)
Now if “Chris” would come clean and declare herself Christine Gregoire, the fraudulent, election stealing pretend “Governor” - so WA State voters would be able to cast their votes knowing all the FACTS!
