L’shana toval tickateivu v’tichatemu..........
May we all be inscribed and sealed for a year of blessings, all the blessings our world can hold. May our great country be blessed by G-d always as an example and inspiration to the world.
Adam and Eve are buried in Me`arat HaMakhpelah, along with Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob, and Leah. I recited Parashat Bere'shit there in their honor when I was there ten years ago.
L'Shana Tova!!! May you all be inscribed for a healthy, sweet, solvent, happy new year!
Mazel tov, your post was no. 18!
Thank you & have a sweet new year!!
Excellent post. In the midst of all the political and economic chaos it is nice to know there is something positive happening out there.
Happy New Year to all those of the Jewish faith!!!!!
May the sound of the shofar herald peace, shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach Adonai
prosperity and joy for you in this New Year!Happy Holidays! Hag Sameach!
Be Blessed this Yom Teruah!
Happy Rosh Hashanah!
May your name be written in the book for a great year.
The Hebrew calendar is based on 12 lunar months, with a "leap month" added every few years to make sure that the holidays, especially Passover, remain within their regular seasons. The Hebrew month always begins with a New Moon.
The Muslim calendar is based on 12 lunar months, which are shorter than the solar year, which is why Ramadan will creep around from winter to fall to summer to spring and back. A few years ago, Ramadan fell at Christmas time, now it is earlier than Rosh Hashanah. Next year, Muslims will be fasting in August (heh).
I am not familiar with the Chinese calendar.
:) L’Chana Tovah to you and all my Jewish friends at FR from this Virginia Catholic! May the Lord bless all of you!
It’s the traditional blessing wishing the recipient well for the new year, which I was extending to the poster who started the thread. Do you have a problem that it is not in English?
No, I have friends in Israel and wanted to send them a Happy New Year in local language - just like to know what I am sending.
Kinda touchy aren’t ya?
Shana Tova, Chag Sameach. Health and prosperity to all.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
And above all, may all walk increasingly close to
Almighty G_d!
Okay, sorry.
Happy New year!
May you all be inscribed and sealed for a good year.
L’Shana Tova!
Time to break out the apples and honey!
L'Shana Tova u'Metuka!
