I would say after today’s market action, after McCain’s saying that he supported the Treasury’s bailout deal, and then House Republicans killing it in two stages, first by torpedoing it on Friday, and then voting down the compromise today and then the the market crashing, the chances of McCain winning the election are pretty much non-existent.
Way to go morons!
Chill. There’s always October.

For anybody whos interested John and Ken at kfi640.com are interviewing Rep Darryl Issa. I havent gotten to hear the whole thing. Hope they replay it sometime today.
Anyway Issa says he was one who helped lead the revolt against the bill. They had the head of the FDIC come in and explain how this could be taken care of without this bailout. Apparently the powers that be dont want to hear that. (mho).
Issa said that by the time the bill got to them it was loaded with not just bad mortgage paper, but bad car loans, bad credit card loans....every bad loan they could come up with.
