If we don't raise taxes in the state we wont be able to afford assistants to the assistants of the assistants.

Hundreds of millions of dollars if not billions could be saved by the state if we only would clear out the top heavy, six figure salaried, incompetent bureaucracy in the education system.

Agreed. Not only would it save money, but it’d allow teachers to actually teach. While there are certainly some bad teachers out there, what most who criticize our education system don’t seem to realize is that in many school districts the teachers are FORCED to pass the weak students, refrain from criticizing students too harshly , and stick to some idiotic guide by the administration. Our teachers aren’t being allowed to have control of their own classes. Even the best teacher can’t do much if he/she isn’t given the proper power and respect.
