Great interview...

but it raises the question... WHY?! WHY?! WHY HAS THE MCCAIN CAMP KEPT HER SILENT FOR THESE PAST WEEKS, EXCEPT FOR GOTCHA HIT JOBS WITH MSM WHORES?

No sane person should appear with Savage - anywhere, anytime.

Amen! I stopped listening to Savage when I learned that he had made a huge contribution to Jerry "Governor Moonbeam" Brown.

She did very well in this interview - sounded relaxed. I think she got too much coaching to be wary of gotchas from her handlers in the Gibson/Couric grillings. She wasn’t at ease like she was with Hugh.

Yeah that was pretty good, he may be a soldier but he still has to call his momma!

LOL!

But it is on life support.

6 points behind is hardly life support.

Remember Clinton vs Dole? Polls had Clinton beating Dole by as much as 24 points weeks before the election. It turned out to be only 8 points and Clinton couldn't even break 50% against the hapless Dole. There's a lot of fight ahead of us!

I think McCain team is playing it coy. After an initial burst after the Palin announcement, they decided to hold her back so her popularity would flame out to early. Sure, she's taken a hit as things calmed down, but think how the base was pumped as she made the rounds.

Like a thoroughbred being help back around the last turn, they'll let her go and sprint to the finish on a wave of popularity.

“He’s going after McCain about saying Treasury has the authority to bail out Wall street and screw the people and congress. “

What did she say to that? I can’t think of a good answer.

If I ever catch the guy that made the decision to closet her for 30 days, he's in for a world of hurt...

The fault lies in the Bushies who joined McCain's campaign. They are Palin's handlers - people who have mastered the Bush Cringe, the reaction when the MSM attacks.

Remember: McCain is still a Senator after he loses.

Limiting the damage?

Its time for both McCain and Palin to take off the gloves.

Five weeks to election day -— its now or never.

I hope not Laura. She has taken to mocking Gov Palin’s voice and accent lately, bad timing imo.

What?! When did Laura Ingraham do that? Date please.

I’m hoping a talk radio tour will be the new century equivalent of a direct mail campaign.

IMO it could be.

Out on a limb? You're following the other doom 'n gloomers around here like an obedient lemming! :-D And that's your prerogative.

I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to be worried about. This "foundering campaign" this "lost his momentum" stuff?? His Palin selection/convention bounce receded. That's it. Nothing else.

Forget about the economy. Forget about Couric being a bitch to Gov. Palin. Forget about Saturday Night Live. It was a close race a while back, it's a close race again. And McCain/Palin are in better shape than the Obamessiah.

Really, the only way Obama wins is if the conservative turnout is depressed. Like in 2006. He knows it, the media knows it. So don't fall for it.
