I don't like throwing around diagnoses. I think it would be hard to make an accurate diagnosis without knowing more about his personal relationships.
I am as troubled by this article as I was by the article by some alleged pshrink in Sodom by the Bay who waxed eloquent about Dubya being a dry drunk. Yeah, it's not totally off the wall to think such tings about either of them, but no responsible counsellor would propose a diagnosis on the basis of the news and public appearances.
I mean, the very fact that one engages in public appearances lays the groundwork for a diagnosis of Histrionic PD, but some jobs require public appearances, fer crine oudloud.
So I think this article aand all like it are irresponsible and make psychotherapy sobject to politics. The writer must die.
Oops. Did I say that?
Uh oh. You might just harbor repressed feelings of anger toward psychotherapists. Me, I harbor unrepressed feelings of anger toward politicians, which is why I drink whiskey and write so affectionately about them. ;-)
