...and no one will mention the corruption of Milk and George Moscone either, who owed their elections to a “community organizer” named the Rev. Jim Jones and his volunteers. Both Moscone and Milk defended this so-called “Reverend” when the dam broke with the stories of abuse at his cult and he fled to South America, where he and his followers drank (or in many cases were forced) to drink the “Kool Aid.”

...which the regular crowd of sheer-haters ignore, minimize, or explain away.

I would never celebrate “man milk” day, which is what it would become.

Milk's life and legacy is being dramatized in a new film to be released in November. Early speculation about director Gus Van Sant's biopic, where Milk is played by Sean Penn, is that it has Oscar potential.

The subject guarantees "Oscar potential" no matter how poorly done the propaganda may be. I Suspect the subject also guarantees it will not make much money.

Dan White, another supervisor, assassinated Milk along with Mayor George Moscone at San Francisco City Hall.

If you remember Dan White is the guy who attempted the Twinkie defense. I think he won but I can remember the details.

I would just like to say that it is about time that Arnold did something right for the entire state. I'm so sick and tired of the “people” of San Francisco embarrassing the rest of the state by their stupid tries at controlling our state government. Thank you Gov!!!!!!!

In Orlando they already have a queer holiday. Gay Weekend is held at the theme parks every year, at the beginning of June.
