is overly confident and acts presidential despite commensurate merits and his modest life achievements...

Ya mean like as Gov Sarah calls it, "Self designed Presidential logos"?

...you COULD call it that.

You could call it a messianic or Napoleonic complex also.

Yes, of course he does.

What’s amusing is the extent to which the enlightened, left-wing, post-religious class treat him as their personal savior, while referring to their opponents as “Nazis.”

Actually, many successful movie actors, politicians, doctors, celebrities in general have Narcissistic personality features. So, in that regard, Obama is not unusual.

The article's author is advocating mental examination of all candidates. Obama IS unfit to be president, but a psych eval of McCain would be problematic. In my Service dealings with former POWs, I found they came in two basic types: super-nice guys or @$$holes. McCain may be in the latter category...still better than Big Chief Flapping Ears...but still an angry human being.

I watched some of 0bama speech today. He looked angry and was screaming at the people at his rally. I wonder when he’ll explode :)

Yes, he’s a nose-in-the-air personality. One of the first things I noticed about him was that he most always has his nose tilted upwards, a snooty and pompous elitist, not to mention a general lightweight and poser.

NPD describes every Democrat Presidential candidate since 1992.

I believe this is what Rudy meant at the Convention, when he said that we don’t need a President who seems to be on a personal journey of discovery,or words to that effect.

I think Sam Vaknin may have made the same observation about Bill Clinton back in the 1990s, but I haven't been able to find out exactly where.

Obama, like a lot of politicians, probably is a narcissist. It would be hard to find a politician who wasn't. Even some of the ones I've voted for had trouble in their relationships. Is Obama really a pathological narcissist, though?

A lot of people make the jump from not voting for a candidate to seeing him as the next Hitler. But not every narcissist is a potential Hitler, and Hitler was able to do what he did because of the circumstances of his day, and those circumstances may not exist now.

the best way to handle someone with NPD is an open-hand slap in a very public place. Both Barry and his Barionette need and deserve one. Followed by the return backhand slap.

No one better to deliver than McCain.
