For some reason I am not able to download the actual bill. I am curious if anyone knows whether this bill includes Main Street or just Wall Street. I’m reading that the people that have mortgage problems have been left out. Not that I am complaining.Is there supposed money for one, or both?

Norm Coleman in MN said his phone calls were running 20 - 1 against the bailout but he voted for it anyways.
He stole McCains line and said something to the effect of “I’d rather lose and election than have the economy destroyed”.
With a strong third party candidate running this year (Senator Dean Barkley), that is definitely a possibility.

Actually it isn’t supposed to be “democracy”. It is supposed to be a Republic.

I know what you're referring to and I agree that they have had a large degree of success over the last several decades.
However, the fact that the calls are running so heavily against this crap indicates that the success is FAR from complete. And the reports that calls are shifting over to favor the coup is a LIE. My boy Kyl lied in the same way last year about the calls over Amnesty, but we didn't believe him then either.

What if everyone suddenly changed their withholding (which if it isn’t illegal, it should be illegal) to withhold ZERO dollars each paycheck. Do you think the politicians would pay attention THEN? They can’t put half of America in jail! (but the Obama commies would try)
If we the people are too chicken-hearted to participate in an armed revolt, at the very least we should protest this elitist tyranny via tax revolt.
