For one thing I own guns that....to the best of my knowledge have never been "registered".
Number two....what's to stop ME, and HUNDREDS like me...to tell them to go pound sand...I don't own that particular gun anymore.

I hear you, but it shouldn’t be that way. Ayn Rand said, sort of, that governments can only pass laws, more and more laws, until such time that you can’t avoid being a law breaker. At that point one only needs an authoritarian “law enforcer” to take power and then there is tyranny.
