I found out that the school where this video was made is a charter school, i.e. taxpayer funded. So it was obviously illegal to make this video.
You would think it would be illegal, for any school that gets taxpayer support directly. however:
In New York City, they have
Charter schools (more than one) whose academic “mission” is “social justice”
A charter school that annually has a middle-school teacher that takes his class on an illegal “field trip” to Cuba
A completely public school, established on the theme of “the Arab culture” whereupon it’s dedication day ceremonies last September had prayers led by a radical Brooklyn Wahabi Imam.
I could go on, and on.
There COULD be allot to say for “charter” schools, but it is no secret why Obama says he supports them and will increase funds to them.
I prefer vouchers instead of Charter schools; vouchers = to the states per-child spending. That would keep open many of the non-political charter schools as private schools and close the political ones that could not get private funding and at least remove direct government funding of political ones.
