While Morris was right, I thought the personal attacks on Colmes was out of line.
I’m no fan of Alan Colmes, but Dick Morris acted like a Dick.
Morris owes Colmes an apology.
Leave that type of rhetoric to Air America & MSDNC.
Can’t agree...Colmes regularly interrupts Morris with stupid talking points, not facts or considered opinions. Morris has finally had enough. Colmes is a fool.
Colmes is a dick-head. He always interrupts conservatives or anyone who disagrees with him to the point that you can not hear what the guest has to say...when he does that, I turn the tv off until he stops! As Rush says, the left can NOT carry an honest debate, because they lose every time. Alan Colmes is a classic example of that.
Colmes was the FIRST to state that Morris NEVER misses a chance to “get a dig in at the Clintons”, as if Morris was viewing this debate in a strictly personal way.
This is Morris's BUSINESS, and while he may not always be right, he truly MEANS what he says because it means MONEY for his consulting business. Unlike Mr. Colmes, Morris is not a mouth piece for any particular party.
Colmes was insulting, DID NOT want to hear the truth that Biden lost the debate and Colmes was trying to tear Morris down. The technique of jamming the interview, Colmes continually talking over Morris, was NOT going to be over looked by Morris because elections are Morris's business.
Colmes asked a question, did not like the answer that Morris gave and then went on to insult the guest because he had no way to refute Morris's points.
My old buddy from New York, Angelo Lombardi, put it best this way: “You F&%k with the bull, you get the horns!” Colmes messed with the bull by insulting him.
WRONG
For years, for decades, the left has perfected talking over the other guy, simply running on with talking points while the opposition sits there wondering how to cut in and still be "nice about it".
Increasingly, Colmes has eliminated the need for a middle man - instead of an invited lefty drowning out the invited conservative, Alan does it himself. In past, he'd wait a short time before cutting in with "But, isn't it true that...?
(I think another very recent 'guest' suggested that his presence wasn't needed in light of Alan's overactive face).
Dems have been getting away with this for far too long and any Republican or other non-socialist who fights back is OK in my estimation.
If the people who claim to represent me had any brass at all, Colmes and company would be camping under their desks.
Screw that. Time for hardball...no gloves. Morris is an idiot but so is Colmes and they both cancel eachother out in my opinion.
We are asking for McCain to take the gloves off...I for one am sick of this Mr. Nice Guy crap.
