Palin is also scheduled to make another swing through the Tarheel state leading up to Election Day in November.

This maybe a strange question but after last nights debate do you think JM will have an issue over Palin’s popularity and interest.
I mean really if it were not for her his campaign would be nothing.
Because of his personally will he be a distraction to her and her ability to be an effective candidate.

Memo to the McCain campaign: Send Sarah to Virginia—ASAP. If the polls are accurate, his lead has evaporated (only Mason-Dixon shows him in the lead). Palin would greatly energize the GOP base in areas he has to win, Hampton Roads, southern VA, and the southwestern portion of the state. Governor Palin could also put a dent in Obama’s support in the D.C. suburbs.

As I’ve stated in other posts, the McCain “strategy” in VA is unfathomable. In a state he has to win, McCain’s advertising has been spotty, and he hasn’t been here in months (if you don’t count visits to his Arlington headquarters).

Meanwhile, Obama will be back in Hampton Roads this weekend for the fourth time. I don’t know what McCain’s team is thinking, but VA needs serious attention.
