“You’re the TOP of the ticket. And if you don’t start showing some BALLS, you’re going to LOSE!”

He needs to show as much chutzpah as his running mate, and start by making this a major point in the campaign for the next 30 days:

She (Sarah) then slammed Barack Obama calling him DISQUALIFIED to be President of the United States, “Some of his comments that he has made about the war that I think may in my world disqualifies someone from consideration as the next commander in chief.”

Hey everyone... ...give him the benefit of the doubt.

Just about all the experts had been saying that some sort of bailout was necessary and it appeared that McCain believed this.

He suspended his campaign and made an honest effort to get the House Republicans to help craft a plan that minimized the exposure and they did. It appears that he had a large number of them holding their noses ready to vote for it for the good of all Americans until Ms. Pelosi turned it back into a partisan issue.

Once it got defeated, the democrats showed their true colors by adding a lot of pork to the bill to ensure its passage.

Until it was passed, McCain could not turn it into a partisan issue since country does come first.

Now that the bill is law, it is behind us and the true reasons for its need in the first place can be brought to the forefront.

In the last debate, McCain (in his mind) needed to stay above the fray on economic issues to not taint the ability to achieve a bill. He will not be so constrained at the next debate.

I totally expect McCain to bring up all of Obama's buddies, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, ACORN, etc. but it needs to be done at the right time. It needs to be done when the media can't filter the comments and when the media doesn't have enough time to brainwash the public into thinking they didn't hear it at all.

Now is the time for him to start pounding and pounding and pounding. The next debate should be a lot more interesting than the first one.
