Boston Globe Leads With a Lie — Debunked Palin Rape Kit Story Again
MensNewsDaily.com ^ | October 2, 2008 | Warner Todd Huston

I would urge someone close to members of the editorial board of the Boston Globe to let them know that the world is not flat, the moon is not made of green cheese, and Elvis is, indeed, dead. I say this because obviously the Boston Globe is way behind the times in discovering facts that debunk rumors and it’s clear they have no capacity to do any research. I mean, they must not be paying attention to reality because in today’s editorial, the Globe again raises the thoroughly debunked claim that Sarah Palin charged rape victims for their rape kits when she was mayor of Wasilla. The claim is a straight out lie that has been demolished by many writers (including myself), yet the Globe obviously took no efforts to research the facts before they revealed their incompetence to the world. ... cont.

Looks Richard Cohen left the WarshPost where they use too much heroin and moved on to the equally smarmy Boston Globe where they are on continuous injection therapy or something.

It's really not possible for the Globies to have failed to have been informed ~ they just don't care.

BTW, none of their women will ever have use for a rape kit anyway, so this is all hypothetical and utterly speculative!

The Boston Globe has been printing lies for years now on many subjects. They are simply not credible, and their circulation has appropriately dropped precipitously.

I look forward to the day that I learn of their shutdown.

Considering that the MSM has systemactically ‘gang raped’ Sarah Palin, they sure are obsessed with ‘rape kits’. (eye roll)

The MSM’s absolute dedication to the Messiah raises an interesting question as to what it will be like if he wins. Regardless of how incompetent and corrupt his administration is, the MSM will have to stay in his corner lest it take the blame for his coronation. Every Obama disaster will be spun to pin the blame on Republicans, past and present. The truth will get ever more ignored and distorted, and the media will become more and more Orwellian. In its own interest, the MSM will have to convince the American people of his infalability, and the Glorious Leader mentality will get ingrained in every aspect of the news. The pursuit of truth and purity will be represented by the arrest and prosecution of evil and disloyal detractors. The MSM has already shown an ability to turn the truth upside down, and its unrelenting double standard has taught the public to think in terms of contradictory realities; Obama’s inexperience and shady past is irrelevant while everything McCain and Palin have ever done is proof of their corruption. The MSM has boxed itself in, and its fate is tied irreversibly to that of the Chosen One. It is the nature of lies that they become successively bigger and more outlandish, continuously self justifying and rationalizing, until all rationale is abandoned. Hate is Love; long live Big Brother.

Oh, but the story is part of the Left's narrative against McCain/Palin.

It's time now for the life issue to become a battle cry!

Creator-endowed right to life and liberty is the foundation upon which this nation was founded.

If a nation devalues that concept, basing an individual's right to life and liberty on judicial fiat and a woman or girl's decision, then where is the security for liberty for any?

The elephant in the room in this election is the Radical Left's absolute determination that it, alone, will decide who sits on the Supreme Court of the United States! They talk about "change," they talk about war, they talk about everything else, but the "elephant" is the question of the unfettered right of a woman to destroy her unborn child. To the Left, this is a declared war on all opposition.

Yes, it is time for John McCain to take off the gloves on exposing the real culprits in the government who forced banks to make risky loans to unqualified people, but for the sake of liberty for generations yet unborn, it is far more important that he clarify the importance of the life issue, and the threat to liberty if Obama carries out the Left's agenda. Soft pedaling this issue, as if it is just a personal preference, overlooks a far more significant principle.

"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."- Thomas Jefferson

"The world is different now. . . . And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forefathers fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God."- JFK, Inaugural 1961

Am I the only one that gets the impression that the MSM people are jockeying for position to be named the new “Pravda” when Obama takes office?

0bama has no normal everyday friends.

“Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” — 2 Thess. 2:3.

I believe the Holy Spirit gave me this thought the other day.

Why, I have been wondering, is this man so adulated, why are his obvious past mistakes, lies, scandals and sins so ignored, why is he held up as such a shining example of a man?

He is clearly a puppet candidate.

I don’t know what he thinks he is going to accomplish if elected. He regularly contradicts himself so it is impossible to know what he truly believes. As much as Bill Clinton triangulated, Obama is orders of magnatude beyond that.

But with an extremely flawed candidate in office, the powers that brought him there have perfect leverage in forcing him to do exactly what they want. With all the scandals, lies and mistakes he has made, with his overwhelming naivete, and with his tremendous ego, he can be forced, tricked or manipulated into doing or saying anything his puppetmasters tell him to do.

He can be threatened with being brought down at any time with scandals as mundane as the complete mess he made at the Annenberg Challenge and his association with Bill Ayers, to the explosive charge that he’s not a citizen of the US or the Larry Sinclair charges. None of these past events has been brought up by the media. To the average person, they are new issues, and enough to damage his popularity or bring on charges of impeachment.

He is an empty vessel to be used by the worst forces of evil. Jill Stanek said he was completely cold to her testimony about cradling the dying child she found in the trash bin.

That’s why I believe he’s the Son of Perdition.

I can’t believe the Globe continues to by a totally debunked LIE when it was their lead Editorial for Wednesday......VERY sick people.

Has ANYONE gotten a response from them? I emailed, explaining the facts, which they apparently ignored.
