A federal grand jury is investigating whether San Francisco’s policy of offering sanctuary to undocumented immigrants violates U.S. laws against harboring people who are in the country illegally, city officials say.
In a sane world it would take them no longer than an hour to come up with the correct opinion.
Guilty.
Why is a grand jury needed to determine whether or not it's illegal for a city's officials to break a federal immigration law because they don't like it? Southern cities didn't like the civil rights act when it was enacted, but they weren't given the option of ignoring it's mandates without paying a penalty.
Anyone with a near-moron IQ who has enough sense to breath though his nose instead of his ears knows it's illegal to break laws and could have given the correct answer without costing the feds a ton of taxpayer money to empanel a grand jury. If they were to throw a few bleeding heart SF officials in a federal penitentiary for a few years this kind of nonsense would stop.

All I can say to these cities and States is if you do not want to be part of America then get the hell out.
As for the Federal Government how dare you give any of them any of our tax dollars........
