I agree... but don’t count on McCain mentioning ACORN. EVER. He probably doesn’t even know they exist and if he did he sure wouldn’t mention them.
Sorry mate, but McCains communications people are completely out of touch... many of them former Bush communications people. In other words, the worst communications staff in US history. I would be surprised if they even know that FR exists, let alone use any of the very useful information here.

Greed is/was indeed a factor: When Raines, Johnson, et al cooked the books to show they hit certain "profits" it triggered incentives to line their pockets. They were packing their own (stolen) platinum-plated, golden parachutes.
Corruption: The linkage between the housing agencies and ACORN is both incestuous and smelly. The housing agencies are, by all measures, a well choreographed RICO organization in bed with ACORN and the Democrat party. Investigative interrogatories with Raines, Johnson, Dodd, Obama, Gorelick, Clinton, Frank, and others would produce many "process crimes" that would make Scooter Libby's crimes look like a jaywalking infraction. The DC Federal holding pen would not be able to contain all the bureaucrats and elected officials that SHOULD be there.

For the sake of our children, grandchildren and all succeeding generations of Americans, we must circulate via e-mail, word of mouth, etc., the truth about Obama and ACORN, and his other associations - Wright, Fannie May, Freddie Mac, etc.; how he’s going to tax the middle class to virtual extinction, likely even to fund “reparations”; what he would mean to the military and national security; what his judicial nominees and cabinet appointments would be like; how he is certain to try to stifle opposition free speech; etc....I’m in the process of e-mailing the videos of those worshiping, mind-numbed 5 to 12 year-olds singing the praises of Obama; the video of the sadly deceived young African-American males doing ritual praise of Obama and what he would do for them; the McCain ad of a few weeks ago which expertly, and accurately, showed Obama all but proclaiming himself as “The One,” the one with the “light shining down,” the “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”.....To quote John Belushi, “LET’S GO!!!!!!!”

Don’t give up, and don’t try to talk others into giving up. (Why would you do that in the last month of the campaign, anyway?)
As for speaking against special interest groups, we have every reason to give Palin a chance to do it. And with executive power, McCain might come out of his shell.

Yea, WTF is wrong with that A-hole McCain? He should be bashing Franks, Dudd Pelosi and Reid 24/7.
Instead he thinks his bi-partisan BS will make him more attractive to Independents. Wake up man, grow some cojones (like you had 40 yrS ago) or let Palin carry the torch to 2012.
