“Nice essay but comes up short on specifics. And although you don’t want to talk about it, our reps just approved the borrowing of 700B against our future productive capacity to prop up the blue region’s house of cards financial schemes.”

I did mention the bailout later in the piece. Point is that it’s really nothing new. Just a continuation, as you say, of the transfer of productive wealth to the unproductive, sanctioned by almost 80 years of Federal policy.

As for specifics, I believe there is a clause somewhere in some Federal law which prohibits “advocating the violent overthrow of the the United States Government” (which, btw, would only be prosecuted against a Conservative, never a Liberal),

So I am absolutely NOT advocating the violent overthrow of the government of the United States. No way. No siree Bob!
Not at all.

Just to make that clear.

reject heartland "values" like xenophobia, sexism, racism, and homophobia

"xenophobia" = Patriotism

"sexism" = Gallantry

"racism" = Equality

"homophobia" = Common Decency

Thanks for reminding me why I am a US citizen, and why the leftist separatists are fascists.

Maybe if “Atlas” ever can get organized, he can “shrug”. The communists/socialists in this country are certainly good at using words to get organized and shackling poor old “Atlas”. “Atlas” was born saddled and bridled and ready for the Barney Franks, the Barack Obamas, the Franklin Raines, the Jamie Gorelicks, the Bill Clintons of the world.

I suppose we can revert to doing simple, necessary jobs and doing them well (like making good burgers) in the socialist world the parasites create and just quit financing their socialist schemes with the fruits of our over-achievement.

Outstanding essay. Absolutely outstanding. Screw these pusillanimous, supercilious, whiny little lib bastards. At the end of the day, all they produce is porn and misery, and we need none of it.

Let them starve, disease and die. Let them consume each other like th dirty cannibals that they are, because that is the fate that towards which they are ultimately headed. We just won’t be on the bus to hell with them.

By specifics I had in mind some sort of red area economic consortium that would keep our areas from getting sucked dry. Figuring out a legal way to do it will be a trick, but that’s what lawyers are for.

I think the united effort of both parties to essentially give away the store is far more signficant than anything that Obama would do. Obama is just one man, and even if he became president, would have no power over Congress and the Supreme Court, which are independent bodies.

You understand how our government works right?

That little Airplane factory is in Renton, yeah, but it’s the same county—still full of dingbats.

That statistic is misleading. Some of those states have relatively tiny populations and relatively large Federal lands-Military bases or National Parks - (North and South Dakota, Alaska, Montana, New Mexico) for instance).

Others, Like West Virgina and Arkansas receive the largesse of their Democratic congress critters.
