The NYT and WaPo pieces are the “inoculation” - just enough of the truth to fend off the shock of the revelation. The rest of the story vis-a-vis Ayers will have to be needled out by McCain in the debates, eliciting a falsehood on the record and refuting it with facts Obama doesn't know he has.

McCain also has to refute the "I was only eight when he bombed DC" with the point that "but once you found it he DID do it, you disassociated youtself from him, right?" (ha ha)

“Swiftboat attack”

= Truthful, fact-laden dossier, supported by multiple, PRIMARY SOURCE individuals.

Oh, and yet to be even partially refuted.

Didn't Ayers host the party for Barry so he could announce his bid for president?
Its strange that Barry keeps saying they don't know each other, just passed in the night sort of thing, yet they keep turning up in the same neighborhoods, events, boards, fundraisers....

F (forget) the NYT! They are discredited. Damn it McCain Palin start insisting the American people hear the facts!

McCain better back this up at the next debate. No namby pamby. Say it and insist on it.

And link it to the “Air raiding civilians” remark.

Shoot, a candidate with some cajones could revisit Obama’s “race” speech and prove he’s a radical nut.

Desperate? Naw! Just honest. Something the Obama camp knows little about.

“Obama Camp Calls Palin’s Attack “Desperate” ( Re: the Ayers connection )”

Yeah, I guess it’s just about as desperate as mocking a POW survivor who doesn’t have total use of his arms for not using e-mail; or picking on a VP candidates DAUGHTER because she’s pregnant!

Had the MSM been doing their jobs from the beginning instead of being active Democrat operatives McCain and Palin wouldn't have to do this “desperate” act.

. Although the Times couldn’t come up with much linking Obama and Ayers,

The FACT that UhhhBumUhhh's campaign STARTED OUT in his house is so slime as to not be newsworthy.

“I’ve never seen such a horrible ran operation in life...”

He made the right moves for a while. The “Celebrity” ad was one of the best this year. Problem is, he got sidetracked by the Wall Street crisis.

I have never seen that before....

Highlighting the Following from your Link:

William Ayers has been the mastermind behind Barack Obama's rise to power in Chicago. Obama continues to deny the truth.

When a politician cries “desperate” you know it hurts.

Trouble is, McCain waited so long to begin hitting hard its possible voters will buy the 'look he's desperate' line.

It would've been much much better for John had he hammered this back when more people were making up their minds. Its so obvious, yet somehow our side has to learn this lesson election cycle after election cycle.

Where's Lee Atwater?

Rhetoric calling something “desperate” doesn’t change the fact that it is true - and that is how Palin should respond. Even if it is “desperate”, how does that make it okay to be buddies with a terrorist like Obama is?

“and that he has strongly condemned the despicable acts Ayers committed 40 years ago, when Obama was eight.”

McVeigh bombed OKC when I was 11, if that stinkin terrorist was alive today, I would have the common sense NOT to associate with him.

Ayers should be in HELL with McVeigh right now.

Obviously the message struck a raw nerve, or else the 0-bama camp would not have responded.

Pull no punches.

An Obama win will be the end of America. And no, we are not strong enough to survive anything.

"As Obama was in an airplane heading to Asheville, NC, for debate preparations, his campaign responded forcefully with a statement, calling Palin’s shot “desperate,” “false,” and a distraction from the nation’s economic ills."

Desperate, false and a distraction...that's campaign speak for "damn we need to kill this story before it kills us."

From the link at #16....

*******************EXCERPT*************************

The second biggest challenge of 2008 has been deciphering and understanding Barack Obama's campaign structure. His campaign is unlike any other presidential campaign in U. S. history. Obama's operation is authoritarian, disciplined and centralized in Chicago. Obama's reliance on a nationwide network of local "offices" and mailing lists points inexorably to a political latticework straight out of William Ayers' revolutionary playbook.

The bottom line: After an exhaustive investigation ContrarianCommentary.com can confirm that Barack Obama appears to be William Ayers' "front" for a national, ongoing Maoist-style revolutionary campaign structure which will endure past November 4th.

Ironically, as we searched for the Ayers-Obama relationship in the present, it was staring us in the face: Obama's campaign is structured precisely the way Ayers would want. That is why Obama has created "Camp Obamas" across the United States to indoctrinate workers, and adopted other similar Fidel Castro/Hugo Chavez tactics.

The puzzle pieces are finally starting to fall into place. Last week we asked why would Black Panther party revolutionary Khalid Al-Mansour start soliciting money for Obama's legal education? The answer: Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, were close associates of the Black Panther Party and even unleashed a terrorist attack on a New York judge who heard a Panther case.

In the 1980's, the Ayers/Dohrn revolutionary terror network was still working through individuals such as Al-Mansour, who had sufficiently laundered his radical past to assume respectability as a front for a Saudi Prince. The same way Ayers laundered his own past to become a professor of "education" at Illinois' taxpayer-subsidized university.
