I’ve read this book and the gospel (many times)...two directly opposing views. I think Jesus wanted us to ‘understand power’, but not to abuse it.
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
“If you would find a thing, seek its opposite.”
