Thanks for posting that! I am not a big Guiliani fan,,,but congrats to him on this one!

It's absolutely disgusting that the GOP leadership and conservative columnists are NOT VOCALLY, PASSIONATELY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY rallying 100% behind Gov. Palin.

If that continues,,,the GOP deserves to lose.

If that continues,,,the Republican Party really is dead.

The only thing that got Slick elected twice was Ross Perot. Plain and simple. Without Perot, he would have been blown out the 1st time, and lost the second (if there had been a second).

I hope you are right. I hope you can say, “Look at his judgement with picking his friends. We can’t let that judgement touch the economy,” but I fear the us sheep are too stupid to see the connection. Easier, I think, to point out the solid connections between the muslim and Fred and Fannie.

"I'm scared about this election,'' she said, calling the Palin attacks on Obama an example of why "the Republicans are the party of hate and fear.''

ROFL. Everyone needs a bogeyman apparently. The Dems have become the party of hating and fearing Republicans. Maybe the GOP can find a way to use that to their advantage. Well, perhaps Palin can. As in, 'I'm a Republican because....' and list out a list of why she's a Republican. It could be a way to define Republicanism as a common sense conservative movement and define what she really stands for, besides supporting John McCain.

I think McCain really inhibits her. She clearly doesn't believe in global warming nor does she believe in limiting energy exploration and development in this country. I think on certain social issues (ie gays) she offers a more honest assessment and perhaps a more salable conservative viewpoint without total capitulation.

Also, I think they need to tone down the "maverick" stuff. It's reached a certain point of goofiness. She needs to portray it in more concrete and hard hitting terms. As in, we'll not mess around when regulation is warranted (ie Fannie and Freddie).

I think she can open up a front on Obama's connections with Fannie and Freddie. She's got the 'average voter' voice working right now. It's good to continue to question Obama's past, but it'll also be good to explain how McCain-Palin will change things in DC. In a way, it'll make her attacks on his character more acceptable.

Time to open up the can of Whoop-ass and wage a merciless, stone-crushing scorched earth campaign against that Commie bastard Obama.

I do not think McCain will do that. He loves to reach across the aisle and make nice with people who kick him in the nuts.

I'd have thought that he would not like this treatment after having been a POW.

and to you I call "Bullshit!"

To Hell with the elitist, CINO, Beltway Intelligentsia. The divide between real conservatives and the chattering class has never been more clear. For every latte sipping, white-glove Will, Krauthammer, Parker, Brooks, Noonan, etc, reader there are 100, nay 1000 down in the trenches conservative who support Palin and what she stands for.

Why should the GOP or the POPULATION of America suffer because these people aren't are board. Jettison these smug bastards and have done with them once and for all.

Hannity’s special on Barry's radical pals was devastating! Terrifying to think that this man could become President. If you missed it, they are running it again at midnight.

I think they need to tone down the "maverick" stuff.

I second that. Tone down the POW stuff, too.

The focus from here on out should be on Obama's lack of judgment.

Don’t worry, they are showing up. Face it, she’s been a Superstar for 4 days now. Watch the landslide coming her way with her Alaskan Fresh Air.

Because the GOPis out of favor at the moment, endorsements from them could turn into the kiss of death.

I am a longtime Republican and I am voting for Sarah Palin not John McCain. At the next debate he better take off the gloves or he is going to lose this election. What the s**t is wrong with him.
