More Bogus Obama Donors Surface
CBS ^ | 10/8/08 | Laura Strickler

Posted on 10/06/2008 2:57:32 PM PDT by pissant

Two donors to the Obama campaign that gave a total of $7,722 appear to have made their contributions under fake names that look like they were written by a mouse running across a keyboard: Dahsudhu Hdusahfd of Df, Hawaii with the following employer CZXVC/ZXVZXV and Uadhshgu Hduadh listed as living in Dhff, Florida listed their employer as DASADA/SAFASF.

CBS News did not find any records of these last names, towns or employers anywhere else. Newsweek reported two questionable Obama donors over the weekend named “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will”.

Contributions from the two donors Hdusahfd and Hduadh were made on the same day starting on July 16, 2008. Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show the campaign began refunding the donations as early as August 6, 2008.

Despite numerous refunds from the Obama campaign, Hdusahfd still has a record of giving a total of $7500 to Obama which is well over the legal limit for the primary and general election of $4600. Hduadh gave $14,200 but the Obama campaign returned all but $222.00.

The Obama campaign says “out of an abundance of caution” all of these donations are in the process of being returned.

Obama spokesperson Bill Burton sent CBS News the following email statement, “We constantly review our donors for any issues and while no organization is completely protected from internet fraud, we will continue to review our fundraising procedures to ensure that we are taking every available step to root-out improper contributions.” Burton pointed to Harry Sargeant, one of McCain’s donors who is now the subject of a Congressional investigation. McCain returned $50,000 to Sargeant in early August.

...under fake names that look like they were written by a mouse running across a keyboard...

That's because it's too much work to make up names for all those fake donors. I mean you have to keep coming up with original thought. It's real tough for Dems.

They know who is donating when the money comes in. Funny how they’re just getting around to “scrutinizing” and showing “an abundance of caution” 4 months later. They spent that money already, knowing full well it was (ahem) questionable. They’re using recent donations to refund it only because it’s being reported.

You know, for a second I thought those were Arabic names. I then recalled a typing program that I use with my 3rd graders. Those names look suspiciously like the practice “words” that they begin their keyboarding lessons with.

“The Obama campaign says “out of an abundance of caution” all of these donations are in the process of being returned.”

— Translation, due to the potential of being caught we decided to give.... part the money back. We’ll try again under a less idiotic bogus name.

Now I’ve seen this story in Newsweek & C-bs. That’s at least 2 MSM outlets that are carrying the story.

We’re making some progress.

Maybe they feel that Obama has what looks like a solid lead in the polls so they can start reporting real stories on him now????

So beyond the phony gibberish names, where's the money coming from? Credit cards? Paypal? Sounds like there are laws being broken here.

What are they refunding to?

So they sent a check to his/hers/its address in Dhff, Fl.? With the extreme likelihood that the check won’t be cashed but will end in dead letters, won’t the money remain with BO?

They won’t return foreign donations, they were bundling them by 200 dollar by person donations. No one knows how much he has with this method, I have heard up to 400 MILLION. God only knows.

How about Obama openly campaigning for his communist cousin Odinga who signed a pact with Muslims to enact Sharia Law if elected and started riots when he lost. Obama campaigned for an openly Anti-American candidate in a foreign country in 2006.

When you think about how blatant these instances are, you have to wonder how many of the seemingly legitimate names are fakes as well.

Given that only the absolute most patently obvious frauds are being detected, it seems safe to assume there are many more “John Smith” or “Joe Jones” type donations which will be difficult to verify... and will therefore be allowed to slip through.

The phrase “tip of the iceberg” somehow seems woefully inadequate.

How are they going to return these bogus donations, if the names and addresses are fake? What am I missing?
