If now there are 165,000 people of voting age and we make a guess that even half of the foreign born are adults and are citizens by the 2000 numbers, then 22,935 would not be eligible to vote due to citizenship. Subtract that from 165,000 and 142,965 (very conservatively) are eligible to vote.

You might be subtracting some people twice here, since you've already subtracted everyone under 18 years old. Some of the foreign-born population would be under 18, but they're already not in your pool.

You’re right. I was an english major. However, from the looks of Arlington the kids are not foreign born but the adults are.
