LOL. People don’t care about Keating 5. They do care about hanging out with a traitor who wishes he had hit the Pentagon 9/11 style.

And since it’s cool to go digging in the candidates’ pasts, what about Wright? What about the mysterious adviser to a Saudi prince who helped Barack get into Harvard Law?

Lest we forget that Ayers is pals with Chavez.

There’s a lot of material in Obama’s past to work with. I don’t think the Keating 5 is going to be enough to dissuade McCain from shining light on that.

The thing about McCain and Keating is not that he was involved in the case, but that he learned from it and actually changed the way he does his job as a Senator and a public servant.

On the other hand, Obama has never admitted making a mistake in his life, and has never done anything in his life that gives any indication that he has learned any lessons from any mistakes.

Having said that, McCain was included in Keating because the Dims didn’t have any guilty Republicans to include. So, they made his minor error in judgment (agreeing to attend one meeting that included a regulator) into a great big deal.
