The one thing that makes me smile about her is knowing after flooding the entertainment industry with forgetable after forgetable movies, she went and personally financed a large chunk of mega-flop Charlies Angels 2 which lost something like over 100 million dollars. Considered one of the biggest financial disasters in movie history.

Charlie's Angels 2 may have sucked, but it didn't bomb. It grossed $259 million worldwide (on a $120 million production budget) and was in no way a financial disaster. And considering Drew donated $1 million in 2007 to the United Nations World Food Programme and that she "stars" in the number one movie of this past weekend--Beverly Hills Chihuahua--I don't think Drew is hurting for cash.

This slut made one good flick - ET. It was good because of the animated character, not because of her - she was a little kid and little kids are always cute. Since that time, she has used the Barrymore fortune to make a lot of flicks with, guess who, in the lead role. Every one was worse than the previous one. She’s a worthless piece of drek.

It was a mega diasaster. Production and advertising pushed it close to the 200 million number. It made less than 100 million. The first Charlies Angels which was made for a lot less was one of those summer movies that many went to see and turned a decent profit. Cameron Diaz dancing around in underwear didn't hurt, but besides that, it was one of the most forgetable, dumb movies ever. It was a one trick pony, but we all know how much hollywood likes to try to flog a dead horse.

So like a drunk in a whorehouse, Drew Barrymore turned around with her empty brain cavity and thought, "Hey the world would be at a massive loss without a saga of Charlies Angels movies and while we are at it, lets give it a over the top budget and I'll put up a lot of my own money."
