you will notice a very prominent name in the middle of the page: ABU-ZAYD. For those of you who are not familiar with Islamic culture, the name means “FATHER OF ZAYD” and it is Ayers OTHER name. As you may have noticed above, Ayers has two children which he raised as Muslims (Malik and Zayd), a fact that he openly exalts by applying to himself an honorary Muslim name.
What? Is there any other good source for this?
It is right in the middle of Ayers’ own web page. What more proof do you need?

Ayers was apparently a good friend of Edward Said, who was also a professor at Columbia (he died in Sept. 2003), whom Obama knew there and continued to associate with afterward. There’s a picture circulating of Obama and Said in 1998, at a dinner of Arab Americans in Chicago where Said was the keynote speaker. Said served on the Palestine Nat’l Council and and wrote a forward for Ayers’ book “Fugitive Days”.
Now, Said was a friend of Khalid al Mansour - who btw also gave lectures at Columbia - and it is Mansour who supposedly helped Obama get into Harvard. (the one thing we know for a fact, he didn’t make in on his grades)
Now we know why there’s a blackout on Obama’s years at Columbia.

Ayers has not changed since the 1960’s.
He just found more effective weapons than bombs.
So, it's just a card. It's weird. Bizarre. It could mean anything anybody chooses to think it means and doesn't prove anything. I can't leap from Abu-Zayd is front and center on Ayers' website, ergo his children who do have Arabic or Muslim names, are being raised Muslim. I think they're probably young adults by now.
I need a couple more independent, unimpeachable sources, or I'm going to go on to something else like the AIG execs who we've just bailed out have headed to an expensive California resort for some rest and relaxation.
Read post #9. Use the search feature and Google. There is more than enough inferential as well as direct information for you to reach a logical conclusion. You could also call a university with a Muslim department and ask for specifics, though I’m not sure you’d get a straight answer.
I just finished watching Jill Stanek on youtube and ended up in tears. Obama has a heart of stone.

They named Zayd, after murdered Black Panther Zayd Shakur and Malik after Malcolm X. I don’t know if they were brought up muslim.
btw - they have been raising the son of another Weather Underground couple who were sentenced to prison. He’s a Rhodes scholar and radical named Chesa Boudin.
Your info is a little old. His children are a few yrs older than that now.
If I'm meant to know anything more about whether Ayers' kids are Muslim or not, I guess I'll stumble across something. The article did explain pretty well about the kids. Ayers was and still is a terrorist POS imo. Probably got a student deferrment from the war.
I wrote a bunch more about other things but no sense in rehashing all that. Quite a day, tragic murder last night, cokehead and dealer minority mom stabbed her husband who worked hard and attended college full-time, in front of her kids, all under 18. Father dead. Lots of violence here now.
Wow, McCain is tentatively scheduled to come here (at the hs, 2 blocks from stabbing); if Palin is coming, too, and it materializes, I'm going to try to go and hopefully get some photos.
Why would name the kids with Muslim names if they weren’t going to be Muslim. Who knows- they’re terrorist scum.
