Showdown in Nashville!
Supposedly the questioners will not be allowed a follow up question, which really defeats the townhall format that is supposed to offer a dialogue between the candidates and the audience. This is not going to help McCain.
Ain't that the truth.
Simple game changer:
McCain produces a copy of his birth certificate to whomever asks, and says Obambi should do the same — not just to his in-the-tank friends.

I just heard that the type of debate tonight will not allow for the candidates themselves to bring up things. They will be asked questions from Independents and Tom Browkaw (Sp?). They say that Ayers or Keating 5 might not even be mentioned with the way the debate is set up...Can you believe this????

Good referenced read and chart... considering the source. Palin is getting a large amount of free media time which is somewhat offsetting. - FlA
“Sooner or later people are going to figure out that if all you run is negative attack ads you don’t have much of a vision for the future, or you’re not ready to articulate it.” - John McCain, 2000
1. FRANKLIN RAINES? Raines works for the Obama Campaign as Chief Economic Advisor 2. TIM HOWARD? Howard is also a Chief Economic Advisor to Obama 3. JIM JOHNSON? Johnson hired as a Senior Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to run Obama's Vice Presidential Search Committee All three are ex-executives in hip deep with the mortgage bundling and have golden parachutes in excess of a qtr of a billion dollars between them. Raines is the big boy with 240 million. What the hell?
No showdown...ah well, just a “I can promise more than you can” contest...
