Israel expected to bomb Iran, French foreign minister says The French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner has said Israel is expected to launch a military strike on Iran before it acquires a nuclear bomb, and urged the Jewish state to hold back in favour of sanctions.

"I know that some people in Israel and in the army are preparing a military solution or not a solution but a military attack. I dont know. This is not according to my opinion the solution, Mr Kouchner told the Israeli daily Haaretz in an interview published Sunday, adding that he did not believe Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon would give it any immunity from attack.
"First, because you will eat them before. And this is the danger. Because Israel has always said that it will not wait for the bomb to be ready. I think that they [the Iranians] know. Everybody knows, he said.

I can’t remember who it was (Bolton?) that said that if it looks like Obama will win the election, Israel will attack before he wins simply because they can’t trust him.
Iran’s developing a lot more range than what is needed to reach Israel. Israel should develop the greatest ABM defense systems and hire others to only take out all of Iran’s oil facilities. ;-)

Let alone the fact Hussein has GREAT support from the muslim sector, let alone the Mid East muslim nations
The world economy is in freefall, Iran’s close to getting its nukes (if it hasn’t already), and the United States is on the verge of electing a fascist, marxist, bigot, unqualified doofus (all rolled into one) president of the US, and the Dims in Congress appear on the verge of increasing their majority. If this is not a perfect storm I don’t know what is.
A preemptive attack on Israel to make sure the UN process has another decade to stop the Iranian nuclear program.
