Yes it’s too bad Republicans can’t teach the difference between fiscal conservatives and fiscal liberals masquerading as fiscal conservatives, Bush tax cuts were probably the last, too little, too late
The question is, do they know the difference?
See this bothers me, a recent poll shows Congress with a 13% approval rating but yet we see this and the Democrats are in control NOT the Republicans?
Something is terribly wrong and until the Conservatives get a grassroot effort that will network nationwide we’ll never understand this at all. We must take control.
Rush was right, Conservatives are weak in local and state elections, come on folks let’s stop this and take back the state and local governments, what say you?
It’s really too late, and “U.S. conservatism” is really dying. Besides, John McCain is also really a socialistic, maverick politician, and he isn’t a conservative politician at all! Congress is still too full of leftist politicians, who are either Democrats or Republicans, and this isn’t likely to change for the better of “U.S. conservatism” for either this election or beyond, if the Democrats really do succeed in abusing their power “to the max”. It’s also only a matter of time before the Fairness Doctrine is fully implemented through legislation and before legislation is also created that legally allows illegal immigrants the right to vote in all future U.S. elections! The Fairness Doctrine and legally allowing illegals to vote in all future U.S. elections will eventually help to kill off all “U.S. conservatism” forever as well as turn the entire U.S. into a socialistic third world country forever! This will really happen throughout the U.S., unless a serious and successful civil war does also eventually occur to change the political landscape yet again.
Yes, stalinism is in our future - I give it 5-10 years before the killings begin. It’s going to be bloody!
Sounds crazy but maybe not, my wife works with a bunch of libs, they are all crazy for BO about a dozen of them. So far only one has registered to vote, too late now to register.
Exactly, these made up polls won’t get straight until 72 hours before the election.
GET A GRIP PEOPLE!! It ain’t over till it’s over. Thirty days is a lifetime in politics. Get involved in your districts. These times call for broken glass Republicans, no matter what. Do it.
he gave nobody any reason to vote for him last night, and every reason to reconsider a decision to vote for him.
I thought like this as well, really didn't believe it, but was beginning to think like that. Then the bailout started. 70-80% of the country was against it!!
Now is that a conservative position taken by people who are conservatives and most don't even realize it or what!!
We don't get our message out as well as we should.
The DBM is partly to blame constantly pushing socialism trying to destroy free market capitalism.
It will take another ten years before the New Media totally destroys them but we will and we are.
Excellent. That is it, in a nutshell.
No, full implementation of the Fairness Doctrine will also eventually kill off all of the “new media”. It will happen asap with the leftist in control of everything!
that would be 72 hours AFTER the election. Remember the 2000 election? I trust these polls as much as I trust the main stream media
We reap what we sow.
We voted people into office that didn’t deliver what they promised; instead, they gave us the largest expansion of government since the New Deal. They have abandoned the conservative principles that nearly 70% of American voters identify with, they have declined to go after those who attack and weaken them in the public square, and they have continued to compromise American principles in the name of bipertisanship.
They are weak, and people despise weakness almost more than corruption. It is no wonder they are on the ropes.
I don’t see any difference between Bush and a Democrat president.
And even though I’ll vote for McCain, he isn’t much different than Obama on most issues.
McCain claimed he is a fiscal conservative when in fact he is a fiscal Marxist.
They both just voted for the overthrow the capitalist system in the US.
Both are global warmests.
Both are left of center.
Our hope is that something happens that would put Palin on top of the ticket.
2) Chabot only being down four is probably a win for him in his district. I just don't see him losing, but if you look at SurveyUSA, they have to jiggle the % of blacks voting to get a Chabot loss. If previous patterns hold, or are even close, Chabot wins.
3) A couple that aren't mentioned are trending our way, WI8 the incumbent appears safe now; FL13 now has a GOP lead; KY4 Davis (R) appears safe; PA3, Phil English only 4% behind, so this is a seat entirely possible of staying R; NY26 has a Republican leading for an open seat formerly R; looks like we lose Ralph Regula's seat when he retires in OH16; Jean Schmidt, who always seems to be in trouble, is pretty safe in OH2 now; MO6 safe R now.
I haven't seen data, but I'd be surprised if we don't re-take the Foley and DeLay seats, and I'd like to hear from AZ Freepers how the Mitchell seat that belonged to J.D. Hayworth is looking.
yep...Jimma Carter....
That's OK as long as you live in the Philippines. When you bring her back to the states you can have some serious problems.....sometimes it's hard to get parts for the foreign models!
In 2006 polls showed we’d lose a bunch of seats, we did.
