Obama makes a gaffe during a speech
Love how he choked - you can hear him gasping inside - when he said it.
It’s probably because I’m over-caffeinated, but what’s the gaffe? I understand that he used the word acorn, but why is that a gaffe?
Did you see McCain gaff...”My fellow prisoners?” we need to knock this GOTCHA crap off...its so pathetic.
Because he is currently falsely denying his ties to the corrupt, vote-stealing, economy-slaying Marxist organization ACORN.
It is a minor gaffe, in a sense. Usually people say, “The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.” or I’ve even heard “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
I have NEVER heard (until this little gaffe): “The ACORN doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
Obviously, he has ACORN on his mind. :)
I’m thoroughly familiar with all that.
Does that mean he can’t use the word acorn the way he did, without it being called a gaffe?
I stand as firmly against Obama as anyone here, but this stuff is getting silly.
Do a search on acorn and youll finally get caught up with whats going on in America.

Every once in a while an acorn that proves it, pops out.
Don’t be ridiculous. I’m well aware of the ties between Obama and ACORN, as well as his denials. That isn’t the point.
This is a silly thing, calling this, a proper use of the word acorn, a gaffe. It’s just silly.
I think what was amusing was how he seemed dismayed to have it in his text before he read it. I’m with you on regular slip-of-the-tongue gottchas, but his reaction I think was worth a chuckle.
“Gaffe” = DemoGenerate code word for ‘LIE’.
Obama is nothing if not a LIAR.
This soundbite should be put in an ad exposing 0bama’s ACORN connections and ACORN’s voter fraud drive.
The quotation is usually "The nut doesn't fall far from the tree." I have heard it with 'apple' before but in this case: Obama realized his upcoming gaffe and simply changed it to a very specific nut that doesn't have the word 'nut' in it. He wasn't substituting acorn for fruit or apple, he was substituting it for nut.That ran thru my mind again last night when he pronounced Pakistan as "Pockeystahn"; very mohammedan-esque, IMO.
Maybe he confused the apple with the acorn because of the breaking news today of the spreading voting fraud across the country - as usual each election - by ACORN.
Bet he’s nervous that people will finally find out just what HE did as a “Community Organizer”. He was working hand in hand with Acorn, who’s crews to go out and scour the flotsom and jetsom and graveyards and phonebooks to register “voters” - He was proud of it...as he said less than a year ago:
“I’ve been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work.” — Barack Obama, Speech to ACORN, November 2007”
He also acted as the attornery who successfully: “Obama Sued Citibank Under CRA to Force it to Make Bad Loans”
There have been reports of intimidation of bank presidents also to force them to make the NINJA loans (No income no job) and just last year said that giving sub-prime loans was a good idea.
Here we go folks. Our GIANT GOLDEN GOOSE EGG that ties Obama in his own words and court documents to the corrupt ACORN outfit and the whole mortgage mess that collapsed the economy...Those loans were shifted over to FANNY and FREDDIE - part of the reason Obama is the second highest recipient of donations from FANNY AND FREDDIE???
And in the original bill that the demRats tried to ram down our throats included giving ACORN! 140 BILLION! The republicans, in part thanks to McC going to DC and forcing the Senate to listen to the house republicans, got that cut out.
So here’s the link, folks, to the proof that Obama was “smack dab in the middle of all of it.” This should answer a lot of questions about who was working hand in glove with the gang that sank the economy.
