They said that there was an existing investigation that Fitzgerald was involved in that has now expanded to include all this ACORN stuff (reminiscent of Ken Starr expanding Whitewater to include Paula Jones, etc)

Obama doesn't need ACORN anymore...he's got the MSM in his corner.

Nixon didn't need Liddy at the Watergate...at the time, he was leading in the polls and won in a landslide, but his hubris to make sure he did made him self-destruct.

So very, very ironic that this is being billed as charges raised by Hillary’s camp. Gonna be hard for Obambi to say he is being “swiftboated” by McCain or the RNC. I suppose he can still say: “That’s not the ACORN I know.”

On to another sobering reality. I find myself deeply conflicted thinking how much better off America would be if Hillary were running against McCain. She’s slippery as fresh cat yak on linoleum and a lefties lefty, but I don’t think she hates America.

And will voters really care? Unless someone can clearly tie Obama to this, maybe. Otherwise, it will generate hysteria on the right but not do much otherwise. Besides, don’t see this on any news wire yet...

Obama gave ACORN over $800,000 from his campaign for voter registration fraud.

Obama is now going to claim that he never knew ACORN has been linked to vote fraud.

That is assuming he has to say anything because it depends on the MSM letting it see the light of day

trust me, if a federal prosecutor calls a presser to announce charges against ACORN involving Obama and the Dems, the msm will be there quick as lightening, if theres anything else other than fawning its the possibility of a campaign killed stone dead that gets journo’s knickers in a knot. They kill their own mothers to get the story first.

I’ve been wondering about this myself. I wonder if Hill would go so far as to endorse McCain at the 11th hour saying it is her moral duty to support the best candidate at this most important time. She would then become the defacto leader of the democratic party. I think if there is much more news that comes out about obamas radical past she may support McCain.
You heard it here first!!!

Yes, even Senator "Coke-head" Obama will go under the press bus if a federal prosecutor publicly links him to RICO investigation into ACORN.

dont think without cheating obama would win. they have started already and in mass numbers, that is why they called attention to themselves and got caught. dont need to do that unless you KNOW without it, you will lose. Also chatted with a pal out west and obama recently set up house there. it is a state that has historically gone red every national election and it has very few electoral votes. why waste time and resources on a state like that if you as far ahead in polls as the msm says? unless again, you are losing. and what ever happened to this big event with springsteen?

Kenya vote ‘badly flawed’
19/09/2008 13:18 - (SA)

Nairobi - Elections in Kenya that unleashed a wave of bloodshed earlier this year were so badly flawed that it is impossible to know who won, an official inquiry said on Thursday.

At least 1 300 people were killed and hundreds of thousands forced to flee their homes in some of the worst ethnic violence since independence from Britain in 1963.

The report by the commission of inquiry, which was led by a retired South African judge, was handed to President Mwai Kibaki on Wednesday and to chief mediator Kofi Annan on Thursday.

“The conduct of the 2007 elections was so materially defective that it has been and will remain impossible ... to establish true or reliable results for the presidential and parliamentary elections,” it said.

The clashes ended with a power-sharing deal that made opposition leader Raila Odinga prime minister, while President Mwai Kibaki remained head of state.

The seven-member Independent Review Commission (IREC) said the poll was riddled with corruption on both sides, with vote-buying and selling, ballot stuffing and marauding gangs armed with machetes used to intimidate the public.

It said there was no evidence the Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) had rigged the results in favour of any of the candidates, but said the crisis was due to the ineptitude and inefficiency of the body at all levels.

“The institutional legitimacy of the ECK and public confidence in the professional credibility of its commissioners and staff have been gravely and arguably irreversibly impaired.”

It said 1.2 million dead people were still on the voters roll, and that the whole system badly needed to be overhauled.

South African Judge Johann Kriegler, who led the investigation, said he was sure Kenya’s government would take the recommendations on board quickly.

“I have every confidence it will be expedited,” he said. “I know who lost in this election, the people of Kenya lost.”

Many in the east African country remained sceptical, fearing that his report will end up shelved like previous commissions of inquiry, never to be heard of again.

“Maybe they will not implement the entire report, but they have to do something about ECK,” said bank worker Sarah Wanjiku.

The full report is due to be made public on Friday.

Sadly, this will have the same effect on some, that evidence of the guilt of OJ Simpson had on the jury in his murder trial...

This would have made Hillary’s nomination a slam dunk if it came out during the primary
