Quinn & Rose this morning announced that US Attorney Peter Fitzgerald (yes, THAT Peter Fitzgerald) is bringing a RICO case against ACORN. Accusations involve mass voter fraud and allegations brought by the Clinton Campaign against them as well.

And will voters really care? Unless someone can clearly tie Obama to this, maybe. Otherwise, it will generate hysteria on the right but not do much otherwise. Besides, don’t see this on any news wire yet...

And, Rezko is talking with the U.S. Attorney as well. If this is correct, the investigation links back to a much earlier investigation. I hope this is true. It would be a simple elegant solution—imprisonment.

Just read over on Drudge of 100s of problems with ACORN submitted applications in Kansas City. No address, addresses that don’t exist, driver’s license numbers that won’t verify, Social Security numbers that won’t verify, duplicate applications, on and on and on.
