Wouldn’t it be funny if the solution to stop global cooling was to burn fossil fuels?

the only good thing about seeing it happen rapidly and soon would be watching Algor’s head explode when people stopped buying his carbon credits

No sunspots. A dramatic drop in the solar wind. All portend serious and problematic cooling, which in the past has been catastrophic for large swaths of humanity. But the globull warming nutcases are still running around preaching climate Armageddon because of small increases in a minor greenhouse gas.

Global warming/Ozone Hole/Ice age/Climate change

It doesn’t matter.

The goals are”

1) To throttle the free market American economy.
2) To build another layer of bureaocracy and regulations.
3) TO keep the easy, comfortable taxpayer money flowing to obscenely unproductive academics/”scientists”.

A bit of a different topic, but --

I used to go to the supermarket and get my groceries in brown paper bags. But then the Greens said that I was killing trees, and that I should use plastic bags instead. So I did. But then the Greens said that I was filling up landfills with plastic that never deteriorates and that I should use canvas bags instead. So I did. Well, the Wall St Journal recently has an article saying that canvas bags are bad for the environment.

Bottomline: Whatever it is that you're doing, is wrong, and the Greens want you to stop it.

Actually, the greenbats have figured it out enough to begin calling it “Global Climate Change” instead of global warming. Now they can have it both ways. Pretty clever.

they were right about an Ice Age and lying through their teeth about global warming.

No they weren't. Don't give those idiots credit.

They called for an ice age in the 70s based on a slight decrease in temperatures that lasted a few years. Their theory was that man's pollution blocked the sun's rays and cooled the earth. It was inspired by the theory that the dinosaurs were killed off by a meteor that raised dust that covered the sun and cooled the earth.

Then, in the early 80s, temperatures started to rise, slightly. They revised their theory to claim that man's pollution was responsible for the rise, by holding earth's heat in, or magnifying the rays of the sun, or whatever stupid theory they could think of. Whatever it was, they didn't think to blame it on the SUN.

In recent years, the sun has entered a sunspot cycle that is consistent with the start of a cooling period, such as we had in the Little Ice Age. So, we may have a cooling, but that does not mean that the Greens were right in the 70s. They were wrong about cooling occurring then (it was warming) and they were wrong about the cause (the sun, not human emissions).

They are idiots who want to destroy capitalism due to a simplistic, childish desire to return the mother earth to a pre-industrial state (killing off 90 percent of humans in the process), and should be given no credence about anything.

We’ve been in an ice age for the 4 million years.

On average the temperatures are about 6 to 10 degrees C below normal.

The last glaciation started about 60,000 years ago and ended about 10,000 years ago.

The next glaciation is due about now (give or take a few thousand years).

I’ve been telling this to folks for a while.

Global warming - some of the large metropolitan coastal cities flood - Gondola manufacturers go into overdrive

Global cooling - tens of millions of acres of the most productive cropland in the world turn into permafrost - literally billions of people starve - no gondolas needed.

There ya go!
