Hope this is the start of a recovery - but sadly, it is more likely shorts covering their position and taking their profits.

Sheesh, has to be some big time manipulation going on. Nothing else would account for the 300+ point swings in less than 5 minutes we have been seeing of late.

Dead cat bounce. There is still a long way to go before bottom. As of Monday there was still about $10 trillion of unwinding needed......we’re not there yet. Among other things, this is global investors FINALLY waking up to the fact that governments cannot and should not be supporting all kinds of social programs. And they want Obama for president???? Anyway - this is why it’s global. All the governments are way, way overburdened. It could go as low as 5000 before it’s done.

What on earth is going on?!

It shot straight up, positive for about 40 min, now it turned down again and can’t make up its mind to stay positive or drop a bit. But it is still a major recovery.

Maybe it is trying to make a bottom and rally time Monday, after the G7 meeting over the weekend.

This is idiocy. There is no reason for the extreme volatility.

The market is now realizing that as the truth is revealed about Obama/Ayers et.al., there’s is a linger of hope the Republic will be saved by him losing the election.

Obama is a direct product of affirmative action, as such, he isn’t the best qualified.
