Hmph. So much for my right to choose (suicide). Now I'll have to go to a back-alley suicide provider. Or maybe jump off the Bay Bridge, but that's not as glamorous.

Let ‘em die. This is a waste of money. There’s always a way. How many tall buildings, cars, guns, knives, pills, ropes, and paper bags do they have in San Francisco?

Sounds to me like something that might kill hundreds or more) of innocent shore birds.

Seriously.

I see.

“Oh. You mean I can’t commit suicide off the Golden Gate? Well, I won’t do it then after all.”

Tyoical diseased liberal reasoning.

So now instead of hitting the water and going splat, the suicide will hit a stainless steel mesh and be grated to shreds like a cheese-grater!

Only in San Francisco.

If someone jumps and gets injured in that net SFO or the bridge owner will pay bigtime in the lawsuit lottery.

I recommend that suicide wanna-be’s just lie down in the roadway and let traffic run over them.

“Golden Gate Bridge officials have voted to hang a stainless steel net below the iconic span to stop suicides. “

Is this to nicely dice the suicide wanna bee’s for the sharks below in the bay? I mean someone jumping from higher up on the bridge would just go through... in nicely sized chucks.

You left out Gavin Newsome - he could kill you with pure smarm.

Officials estimate the steel net will cost between $40 million and $50 million. The suicide prevention net will require an environmental review and further study before installation.

Only in liberal land.

They have to do the same for all tall building now or it won’t be “fair”, they need to make S.F. a Suicide Free zone, maybe line the sidewalks with mattresses, that way the homeless will have “homes” and break the fall of jumpers.
