I propose that at the very least there is a provision added to the constitution that if a religion was found to be detrimental to America by the actions of its followers said religious group would be bound under certain articles to in effect be made illegal.

Spirited: We will then find ourselves undertaking the very same effort as the Marxist Communists, who engaged in barbaric mind-control experiments in an effort at controlling and/or erasing ‘bad’ or ‘politically incorrect’ thought. And when they realized the futility of that effort, they resorted to extermination-—genocide.

Our battle is not with flesh and blood but with ideas-—the metaphysical realm. We must engage the war in that realm.

I don’t know what the answer is. All I can say is I’m praying a lot these days. That God will not forget America, and that He will forgive us for not defending her — or His truth. That He may give us yet another unearned blessing!

We are witnessing the awful tragedies and realities of spiritual blindness, for as the mind is the citadel of the soul, its capture means the capture of the soul.

We must become more effective at articulating the right ideas in a manner understandable to every person. We must do this simultaneous to exposing the illogic, inner contradictions, and consequences of the opposing ideas, or antithesis.

The Bible tells us that as a man believes, so he is. We now know—for we can see the evidence everywhere we look-— the profound meaning of this truth.

True.. some overlook that "things" are currently exactly the way they are supposed to be.. God "IS" in charge and "things" are proceeding nicely.. And that current events marching to a persistent drummer.. According to spiritual formulae of prophetic design..

Exactly! And the connection is the Frankfurt School, Dewey, and the turn-of-the-century Progressives such as Rockefeller, Ford, and Carnegie, whose money made it possible for the Frankfurt School to do to America what it had done to Weimar Germany.

Basically I agree with what you're driving at here, spirited irish, and think and believe that your conclusion is true.

I'd just put the matter in slightly different language. I'd do that, because "thesis" and "antithesis" are abstract terms that do not mean anything to most people. They are devoid of actual meaning for just about anyone who isn't a professional philosopher. Instead, I'd use the motif of First Reality, and the conscious creation of alternative or second realities formed for the exclusive purpose of eclipsing First Reality and its universal order. But then, would I have made any improvement over your model of thesis–antithesis? To speak of First and Second Realities reeks of abstract philosophy as well!

To get more practical, let's just say that First Reality definitely includes God as creator and sustainer of the universe. This is an ancient idea, one that goes back in the human record some six or more millennia by now. Typically, the most notable motive of the construction of second realities is the purposeful eviction of God from the order of the universe; e..g., the God Is Dead movement.

Anyhoot, my strong preference, by culture and experience, is First Reality, which specifies the great hierarchy of being: God–Man–World (i.e., the natural world)–Society.

The seeds of Second Reality have borne much (noxious) fruit within the human living and historical memory, notably such movements as socialism, communism, fascism, and (arguably) scientific dogmatism. The common denominator of all is: the banishment of God from all human and natural affairs, the claim that He does not exist except as a hallucination in the brains of morons. Thus you see the denizens of Second Reality are usually found to be such "charming people" — NOT!!! LOLOL!

What finally confronts America right now is not so much a "metaphysical" problem or crisis, but a spiritual one. Too many people have fallen spiritually blind and dead to God. But without Him, we have no universal criterion by which to know the good, the true, the moral, the just; we have no Source or Defender of inalienable human rights — inalienable because they are gifts of God; nor any unshakeable foundation of the liberty and dignity of each and every unique human person. Further, we have no possible rational explanation for the order of the universe and all things in it.

The American public seems to have performed a mass lobotomy on itself. Spiritually blind and spiritually dead, they have been set up as the intended victims of the entrepreneurs of Second Realities, who would use them as so much fodder for the fulfillment of their perverted, evil dreams.

With human liberty vanquished and vanished, we shall become as meek as cattle, to be sure. Or else....

So I continue to pray for our nation, for the American people, knowing full well we haven't done a thing in recent times if ever to merit God's blessings on us.

Still, He has evidently blessed America in the past. And it seems to me that God still loves His "prodigal son."

And so I constantly pray: In all things may His will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Question is, how would we go about pointing this concept out to the victims without offending them? Honestly, I believe they truly “know not what they do” and actually believe all is well... even though they're spiritually and in most cases intellectually dead.

Saint Paul wrote about this phenomena in the book of Romans; something about “professing to be wise they became fools and God gave them over to a debased mind..(paraphrasing)

Yes, Burke had a solid
“cause and effect” diagnosis of the disease and it's toll. But how, exactly, would one go about dumbing down, repackaging Burke's view's into effective doses necessary to inoculate the ignorant masses in today's culture of flashy sound bites and hit and run narcissistic self absorbed sex sells greed based commercialized cesspool of a society we are drowning in? I think it's already too late to worry about it now. I have very little faith left in mankind.

unfolding of the creation story from beginning to end. The Antithesis is of course, not merely the opposite, but the inversion and destruction of the former through the destructive effects of malignant narcissism, or diabolical envy, whose political manifestation is communism.

The ideas we are trying to find words for were magnificently depicted by JRR Tolkien, who understood that such things were best told through fantasy. Thus the Antithesis is Sauron’s blasted Hell,whose evil denizens-—all of them twisted and distorted into sameness—were relentlessly spied upon by the never-sleeping burning eye of envy.

Harry - I think that the only way some people are going to wake up is if they are hit with a clue by four. Disaster of some kind - everything that they are addicted to/making the center of their lives taken away. Fashion, gadgets, shopping, MSM/movie/etc crap all gone, etc. Then they will be face to face with their empty lives and empty hearts, and then their character will have to come to the fore.

I am sure that many are so determined to keep sleeping that nothing (in this life) will help them. “None so blind as he who doesn’t want to see”.

I do think disasters of one kind or another (or several in a row, or all at once, who knows) will wake some up. Not that I’m wishing for disaster. A healing crisis, maybe.

I totally agree, spirited irish! This operation is clearly satanic in its motivation and goals....

We can thank the German transcendental idealist philosopher Hegel for the terminology, "thesis–antithesis." Whose purpose evidently was to destroy the fundaments of reason altogether — which is the sort of thing that Satan favors and aims to accomplish in the world of men....

According to the logic of Hegel's system, man is reduced to a total abstraction: to the status of a disembodied thinker bound to the conventional rules of a deracinated "either/or" logic.

Hegel's "genius" was to suggest that the "either" and the "or" were both finally just human fabrications anyway, and thus of little intrinsic value.

Thus on his theory evidently it follows that, if meaningless thesis and meaningless antithesis were to be fused, or "synthesized" in a final (yet ever-moving) outcome, that would be preferable to either of them meaninglessly functioning alone. Somehow, the amalgamation of the two meaninglessnesses magically "creates" meaning, thus to set "Truthful" human knowledge on "the good foot," going forward, forever more....

The man was certifiably insane, IMHO. As was Nietzsche, his contemporary. (Nietzsche actually was certified insane at the time of his death, due to complications of syphylis. But evidently, Hegel escaped a similar finding....)

I think both these guys should have been locked up in a rubber "white room," in physical restraints if necessary; so as not to do any further harm to themselves or to anybody else. Heavy doses of Thorazine may be required....

LOLOL!!! But I do have reason to believe that Hegel was one of the greatest "black magicians," or sorcerers, of all time! And I think I can back it up, if anyone's interested.
