I have an old friend from grade school back in the 60’s, he has never grown and matured to a point where logic and critical thought become second nature. Like water flowing down hill he seeks the path of least resistance intellectually speaking.
He is easily derailed by anything that appeals to the lowest common denominator; hollywood fakery (movies and TV shows about fake people with fake jobs, breasts, lives etc...) spends hours playing xbox video games and other useless time wasting hobbies. I wonder sometimes how he lives life in blissful ignorance, knows nothing about politics never votes, reads or even watches the news. How he made it this long is a mystery to me.
After reading this piece by LK I think I understand him a little better...
