What we are looking at is what organizational science calls "loss of commitment," and its result is total organizational disaster. I’m wondering exactly which ACORN scandal they’re finally irked about. The one where ACORN used intimidation and racketeering practices to make banks provide risky loans to unworthy borrowers, leading to our current economic meltdown? Is it the one where they defrauded their own stockholders to pocket millions for their leaders? Maybe it’s the one where their lobby contributions to corrupt politicians like Frank and Dodd prompted them to turn a blind eye to an obviously looming crisis? Or maybe the scandal that’s finally shedding light on the organization’s complete lack of standards and oversight to assure they stay within the law when pursuing voter registrations? It could be the scandal that we’re just uncovering where they’re now selling legitimate Social Security numbers straight off of registration forms to third parties for malicious intent? No, I’m guessing it’s their organized practice of forging, duplicating, fabricating, bribing, encouraging multiple registrations, and completing forms for corpses, children and pets. It took a while, but I guess people are finally seeing the light of the thug, Anti-American tool of corruption that is ACORN—and Barack Hussein Ubama is knee-deep in its operation.
For a lot of people, ACORN may well be the tipping point.

Some Dems here in OK have already walked away along with the Hillary supporters who are now helping highlight the fraud from ACORN.
There are Dems I know here that are disgusted with the Obama/Dean/Pelosi/Reid camp that has taken over the Democrat Party. Even the state party in OK has been taken over by a far left person. Their candidate for Senate is a far left liberal.
Whenever I get made at the GOP, I look at their party and realize that theirs has been taken over by socialist.
You will discover that the people who post on this site are not monolithic in their views- sometimes there are heated discussions between social conservatives and small-l libertarians (of which I am one).
And, as long as one does not stray too far into "tin foil hat" territory, there's an amazing tolerance for a diversity of opinion in what gets posted and commented on here- unlike places you've undoubtedly gone, like DU and Kos, where any deviation from the lockstep thoughtstyle of the Left will get you banned in a heartbeat.
People *do* get banned here, but it's fairly uncommon, unless they're outright trolls.
Occasionally a long-time poster gets banned, but it's infrequent enough to where it's newsworthy. That should tell you something.
Some may call you a troll and disruptor because you just joined, and while trolls *do* register (and especially lately as there appears to have been a directive for 0bots to post talking points as widely as possible in order to dilute the concentration of factual posting regarding 0), my personal take on new posters is to watch and see.
"By their posts you shall know them".
And I myself am not immune to this:
I tore somebody a new one before looking at their posting history and suffered a case of "poster's regret"- So I hit the "Report Abuse" button and asked the Admin Mods to remove my post.
Anyway, kick back and enjoy. And if you were involved in the campaign (either officially or as part of the grassroots) and have any illuminating information from those experiences, we do have a "Bloggers and Personal" category where such things can be posted. Just try to exercise quality control if you consider doing so, as a lot of them aren't worth reading.
And hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy October.

ACORN is all about the economy. That organization was involved in forcing our legislature to force banks to make subprime loans to people who couldn’t keep up with the mortgage payments.

Actually, when I was going through college, I used to be a frequent IRC user under a different name. I set the channelbots channel entry announcement for my nick to say “______has entered the room (___ more days until college graduation) the struggle continues.” Eventually I changed the name to struggle and it just stuck. maybe i should do the same since im a grad student now....

We can spread the word, but don’t hold your breath waiting for this scandal to appear where it would do the most good: on the front pages of the big lib rags and reported by the alphabet networks. There has been a concerted conspiracy by Big Media to ignore or shut down any attempts to reveal Obama’s corrupt and scandal-plagued past. Full disclosure about ACORN by the Big Media mouthpieces would mean Obama losing millions of votes and most likely the election. They won’t allow that since getting their Marxist savior elected is the most important thing on their agends. Screw the truth. Any other candidate’s electoral chances would have been sunk long ago if they’d had the same disgraceful past as Obama.
