Alexi Giannoulias, who became Illinois state treasurer last year after Obama vouched for him, has pledged to raise $100,000 for the senator's Oval Office bid.
Before he promised to raise funds for Obama, Giannoulias bankrolled Michael "Jaws" Giorango, a Chicagoan twice convicted of bookmaking and promoting prostitution.
Giannoulias is so tainted by reputed mob links that several top Illinois Dems, including the state's speaker of the House and party chairman, refused to endorse him even after he won the Democratic nomination with Obama's help.
Giannoulias was the bank's vice president and chief loan officer for most of the more than $15 million in loans.
He was not charged with breaking any laws. The Obama campaign disputed any suggestion that Obama is tarnished by the association.

I just saw this info on my Phoenix craigslist politcs forum..I just started checking it out and was amazed at all the little snotty rats on that board...it was interesting to check several others around the country to see what they are posting...The lies and BS against McCain are worse than the DUmp...I have been linking alot of stuff over there...It’s making them nuts.

Think it goes back to Hawaii when his mentor was the Communist Davis and has continued from there. That’s why he gravitated to the terrorist Ayers and Dohrn and Ayers help find funding for Obama to attend Harvard. It all fits, they needed a leader and Obama fit the bill as the first black American running for President with the thugs right there with him.
There are some articles that show a split with Mayor Daley when Obama went in with Ayers, Rezko and others who seem to be more dangerous then the Daley machine.
The only hope is that the shear volume of facts on Obama will finally wear them down as the news gets out on the internet and talk radio

Lenin was saying that there is no objectivity, everyone reflects point of view of their party (which should be only one point of view since ideal society would have only one party). Once upon a time the old hoot is right. Unfortunately we seem about to start a few decades of it.
