rumours about his private life
Barack Obama is the target of a shadowy smear campaign designed to derail his bid for the US Presidency by falsely claiming he had a close friendship with an attractive African-American female employee.
The whispers focus on a young woman who in 2004 was hired to work on his team for his bid to become a senator.
The woman was purportedly sidelined from her duties after Senator Obama’s wife, Michelle, became convinced that he had developed a personal friendship with her. The allegations were initially circulated in August, just two weeks before the convention at which Obama finally beat his opponent for the Democratic Party nomination, Hillary Clinton.
The woman, now 33, vigorously denies the vicious and unsubstantiated gossip.
And some Washington insiders suggested that she was the victim of an 11th-hour attempt to smear Obama by die-hard Hillary supporters.
But now the rumours have resurfaced, suggesting that they may be coming from elements in the Republican Party....

I agree. This would indeed appear to be a silly act of desperation at present. There exists a wealth of far more important issues about Obama that need deeper investigation.
My Theory:
This is the Enquirer’s way to quell the criticism that they have NOT gone after the many, many serious scandals involving Obama.
I know for a fact they have inundated with email after email in the thousands, letters in the thousands, all complaining why the silence on Sinclair, the Birth Certificate, the Ayers and Wright connections and more. They know every molecule about these stories. They are sitting on them.
So they put out this little bit of frothiness—which we all know is utterly meaningless in comparison to Obama’s serious and dangerous alliances and activities. And which will be blown aside.
Now they have covered themselves and can “claim” they go after everybody.
But they know this will mean ‘jack’ to Obama followers. Smokescreen.
It is very disheartening to realize the ‘Marxist’ has the Enquirer in the bag too.
I would not give this story the time of day and let the Enquirer know we “see” what they are doing.

In the very first sentence the MSM proclaims innocence of The One. Interesting. I don't recall them doing that with the Trig Palin rumors, etc.

Imagine Michelle with her own office in one wing of the White House. I doubt she’s going to limit her duties to redecorating.
This seems as if it was brought up by Obama with the intent of diverting attention from the candidates positions on the issues and his relationship with domestic terrorism.
In addition, the alleged rumor provides cover for Obama in the light of the Sinclair affair and the candidate’s less than manly reputation.
It would undoubtably be best to just ignore this bait.
I'm more worried about his time as Consigliere' to ACORN, his discipleship under Bombin' Billy Ayers, the Rapin' Radical, and how much influence Tony Rezko has with him. I'm worried about how Chicago thug politics could take over America if B. Hussein is elected. I'm worried that terrorists and dictators all over the world are drooling at the prospect of an Obama Presidency because they know they'll have 4-8 years to run wild. I'm worried that Obama's economic prescriptions will put America into a Depression that rivals the 1930's (the last time Government tried to get us out of a Recession).

If Mccain was using the Art of War as his guide he would immediatly come out and say not only did they not start the rumor they know it is false. It was a Democrat within his own campaign camp that tried to sell it to them. They told him to get lost.

perhaps the reporter knows that the rumors about this affair are untrue because the subject was busy having an affair with the reporter at the time and so the reporter knew exactly where the subject was at all times.
