I wonder what the reaction of former President Bush will be if they try to investigate him and his administration, or even put them on trial. I fear he will say something like I am disappointed in this, or I will cooperate with this investigation. In reality I hope he will tell them to go to hell, or come out swinging. He’d have nothing to lose. If he did acquiesce, as he sometimes did as president, I would not be too surprised, sad to say.

Bush played the Clinton scandals ‘close to be vest’ and let them fade. This is the thanks he gets. While he’s president, Bush has a chance to reconsider his ‘new tone’. The same goes for all of his staffers, all of his interns, and the staffers / interns in GOP congress seats. Same goes for supporters of McCain who prefer an easygoing campaign.
